I bought the Sony 5.1 Channel Soundbar HT-S20R on the 13th of March 2022 and having problems since then. Even my Philips/F&D speaker system worth ₹2500/- with relatively lower sized woofers/speakers have much more bass compared to this home theatre system worth ₹16500/-.
Raised a complaint immediately with Croma and engineer was sent to investigate.
He came twice and reported that there was no problem at all with the speaker system however, raised the complaint again and after the 3rd visit, he said that there was issue with the speake/woofer system.
He came in later after 15 days with some part to be replaced but ended up crashing the whole system, now the system even refused to start.
Sony service center sent someone to pick up the speaker system on 29th April 2022 so that the problem can be resolved at the Sony service center and informed that the product should be delivered back by Saturday if not on Monday by the latest.
It has been 11 days now and I haven't heard anything yet from the service center regarding the progress of the repair nor I have received any email regarding the complaint number.
I did not expect this kind of service from Sony. I feel cheated and have wasted my money buying this piece of crap which refused to work right from day one.
I need refund or a brand new speaker system as I did not pay for a refurbished/repaired product. The product was faulty when it was delivered. Was this information helpful? |
