Half an hour before i came to thiruvanmiyur metro station to buy two tickets (One for me & another for my brother). There was a long queue & there was this women staff at ticket counter behaving rude & asking exact change from everyone. Even for 10rupees she is asking change while holding lot of coins infront of her desk. I asked two tickets & gave 50rupees, which she would give 40rs. Back. She has lot of 10rupees &20rupees notes (Almost a small bunch) but purposely asking change and holded the tickets. I then called my brother who was standing besides me & got the 10rs. & immediately gave to her. This staff again purposely said that she can give only one ticket & not for my brother & gave only one ticket. She added that she can give only one ticket per head. I noticed a old man (70+) i think, still waiting for his ticket standing nearby the counter. I gave the ticket to my brother & came out. The lady was out of control & she repeatedly shouts at the queue mentioning some rules. Is this the right way for the govt staffs to behave with public? Pathetic india, i worry the quality of public service has really gone down to such extent that even senior citizens need to wait for a small amount of change. If any senior officials came across this post please take some actions against this rudelady & some possible steps sothat atleast some old men dont need to wait, thank you.
