This was a business trip planned well in advance. We had a very important event to attend on 12th Sep, 2022 at Jabalpur. Hence, we booked the tickets well in advance and even the accommodations were arranged at respective destinations accordingly.
However, a very big problem started when we received an email (attached for reference) from Spicejet on 6th Sep, 2022 stating that due to operational issues, our flight from Mangalore to Bangalore with PNR: NF7KXD was revised to September 12, 2022.
We contacted Spicejet customer care to reschedule all the 3 flights to 19th, 20th and 22nd of Sept respectively, but our request was denied saying that the rescheduled dates can only be within 7 days and will also not cover for PNR: WJ3FQH.
We then asked them to cancel and refund full amount for all the 3 flights but then denied refunding for PNR: WJ3FQH.
They are charging us 50% extra for cancelling or rescheduling the flight with PNR: WJ3FQH for no fault of ours. Traveling on Sep. 11, 2022 and Sep. 13, 2022 is of no use for us as the flight on 10th sept itself is not available.
This is very disappointing and has caused a a huge loss to us. We have wasted our whole day contacting Spicejet support team without any resolution. Their contact number is chargeable and takes more than 30 minutes to connect. I have spoken to two managers from their team - Ritvik and Chahat. They insisted me to raise a complaint further. We have cancelled all the 3 flights now which has caused a huge loss to us and our business.
I need a full refund for all the 3 flights!! Hoping for some help on this.
