Spice Jet Airlines — worst customer service experience and rude staff behaviour.

On 12th october i was to fly on sg-487 from goa to mumbai at scheduled time, 5.30pm. The flight kept being delayed for every 30 minutes, and finally at 9.30 pm after 4 hours of waiting the flight took off that day.
The staff present at the airport kept giving us vague answers and never for once gave us a good answer as to why this happened! Secondly, the staff behaved in a very rude manner.
While we waited for 4 hours at the airport, please note at goa domestic airport there is no restaurant to eat food.
Spicejet gave us "refreshments" which consisted a small party sandwhich + cupcake + apple juice + haldiram sev.
Who eats this kind of stuff for dinner?
The worse part was they didn't even have food on the plane!
I reached mumbai at 10.30 and by the time i was in my hotel it was midnight.
When i called the customer care, they didn't bother at all. I have been put on hold numerous of times and once the executive told me not to call but email them. Which i did, and all they send is vague responses & apology emails.
My question as a consumer is this, is it sufficient by the service provider to say sorry after such a big blunder and wiggle out of this?
Don't we pay for a service and if we are not satisfied by the service it is their duty to look into the matter.
It's been a month now since the incident and they still don't have the decency to resolve this complaint.
My request to everyone is that avoid traveling in this useless airlines.
They have no respect for a customer.
