Ssscart.com — Non-delivery of a geyser booked through junglee.com, delivered a dirty piece despite cancellation of order

Dear Sir, I had booked a geyser on 22nd of October 2013 through junglee.com and the item was to be delivered from the Vendor SSScart.com. I had made the payment through my credit card on the same day and on the 28th of October 2013 when I called up the Vendor to enquire about my delivery, I was informed that there was a delay from the courier company and the same will be delivered by the 29th of October 2013. When I had followed up again on the 29th of October with the Vendor to provide the POD details of the delivery, I was informed that it would be provided and however the same was not provided. I again called up the Vendor on the 30th of October 2013 and enquired with him about the POD details of the courier, it was only then I was informed that the delivery would not be made and a refund would be provided in 15 days time subject to furnishing of my bank account details. I had dropped an email to the Vendor on the same day asking for a re-fund furnishing my bank account details that are required to initiate a re-fund. However on the 8th of November 2013, the Geyser was delivered at my doorstep and when I opened it up to check for its quality, the piece was dirty and was also rusted on the rear side. I had returned the consignment back to the Vendor and when I contacted the Vendor to state this, the response given by the Vendor was lethargic and he even went on to state that I had paid the amount and he had delivered for it, despite the fact being that the goods was delivered forcefully at my doorstep inspite of asking for a re-fund and a dirty piece was provided. He also stated that he has got three lawyers who would take up the case in case if I were to approach a Consumer Court and he would be extremely happy to meet me in the court. Junglee.com does not have a customer support number and its pretty strange that an amazon group company operating in India, damn cares about the quality of their Vendors and Customers are taken for a ride by their Vendors. Kindly request you to look in to this case and do the needful at the earliest so that many innocent online shoppers can be protected.
