State Bank Of India [SBI] — cheating by the bank | |||
I have an account with state bank of india. It is my pension account. Last night i used my atm card to withdraw 200 rsi. N an sbi atm. But there was no cash in the atm. Then i tried in another atm. It had only 500 rupees denomination. No 100 rs. Notes. Then i tried in another atm... It showed insufficient balance... I had 263rs. Balance in my account. But now i have only 146 rs. Left. I checked the account statement online. The bank has deducted 23 rs. For every transaction for 5 times stating - insuf bal Atm decline charge- But i had balance.in my account. There was no cash in atm. My atm card is new, issued this month and i have made only 2 transacions before this issue How can the bank deduct charges from the customer if the atm had no cash and proper denominations. I filed a complaint in customer care. But no proper response. The customer care executive as well as the superior officer accepted that it was their fault. But they keep on saying like that it is usual to dedect charges like this even if the fault is on the bank side. Pls help me in this issue.
