State Bank Of India [SBI] — fraudulently withdraw from atm
I nachhattar singh s/o sh. Balbir singh, is a sr. Citizen residing at morinda, district ropar, punjab. I am maintaining bank account no.[protected] with sbi (Previously sbop), kainaur road branch, morinda, distt. Ropar (Pb.). On 17.11.2017, i made a complaint with cpgrams portal, department of administrative reforms and public grievances, new delhi regarding fraudulently withdrawal of cash of rs.35000/- on 21.7.2016 from my above account through atm installed at the premises of above said branch. (Copy enclosed).in response thereto, the chief manager, state bank of india, morinda, distt. Ropar issued a letter to me on 3.1.2018 (Copy enclosed). It is very much clear from the said letter that bank authorities have admitted the fact that from the cctv footage it is visible that one of the two unknown persons had collected the said cash fraudulently on 21.7.2016. It is evident that cheating has been done in the bank premises even then the bank authorities have not taken any action at their own level till date to refer the case to the police authorities to locate the culprits. Rather they are advising me to follow-up with police whereas it is the duty of bank to safeguard the public property/money deposited with them. It is, therefore, requested to kindly intervene in the matter and help me to get back my hard earned money of rs.35000/- and punish the culprits Was this information helpful?
