I have an account in branch (10859) chowk bazaar chhatarpur. After demonetization I tried doing transactions online, but couldn't get any OTP.
Then I found out that registered mobile number is wrong even though I filled the right mobile number. I thought of changing it through ATM card but my ATM card got expired at the same time and they have sent the new ATM card but can't generate pin for new card because of wrong mobile number.
on 27th Dec, I visited the same branch and submitted 2 applications,
one for changing the mobile number to the newly given mobile number and
one for setting the enquiry why mobile number was wrongly registered and returning my money back which has been deducted so far for the mobile service charges.
Branch Manager (Mrs Rajshri Jockchand Giroti) told me that mobile number will be changed within 2 days.
But it hasn't been changed till now even after a month.
I have filed multiple complaints using CMS and calling to customer care numbers but all of them gets resolved automatically by giving the fake solutions.
I have tried calling to branch multiple times but they never picked up.
I sent more than 20 mails to branch and customer care but haven't got any proper reply. Got one reply from branch manager after long time that they have changed the mobile number in CIF, but when I checked in my online banking profile tab, it is still not changed.
When I replied to branch manager that it hasn't been changed yet, her reply was very rude and asked my to file a complaint if you want it on priority.
Please do take an action on high priority.
Also let me know why SBI is taking so much of time to change a mobile number. I have suffered a lot and want this to be done as soon as possible.
