[Resolved] Stayzilla — Booking cancellation but no refund so far. | |||||
I made a booking for my friends family at KV Residency, coimbatore and paid Rs 2453 in advance. But my friend canceled his trip, so made booking cancelled. The stayzilla acknowledged with following reply ''You have cancelled your Booking at Kv residency from 31st Dec 2016 to 1st Jan 2017. Stayzilla will process your refund in accordance with the Free Cancellation Policy chosen by your Host. You will get a mail containing your refund details within 24 hours. Call Stayzilla Assistance at[protected] if you need any help.'' Booking Details Booking ID[protected][protected] CHECK IN31 DEC Sat, 12:00 PM CHECK OUT 1 JAN Sun, 12:00 PM Family AC Room 2453 x 1 Room x 1 Night 2453 Order Value (inclusive of taxes and charges) 2453 Amount Paid 2453 Property Cancellation Amount 0 Stayzilla Cancellation Charge (inclusive of taxes) 0 Total Cancellation Amount 0 Refund Amount 2453 The refund will be sent by 1st Jan 2017 * Thank you for booking through Stayzilla. Regards, Stayzilla After two days, i asked stayzilla about refund particulars, they replied me ''' Dear Prabakaran, Greetings from Stayzilla.com !!! With reference to your order id[protected][protected], we see that the booking was confirmed and we have transacted the payment to the hotelier. However, you can review the cancellation policy below and the same thing is mentioned in your confirmation email as well. Cancellation Policy: 100% REFUND if you cancel any time before check-in date. However, you have requested to cancel the booking on Check in date itself. As per the cancellation policy, we are sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for the refund.
