[Resolved]  Stayzilla — Booking cancellation but no refund so far.

I made a booking for my friends family at KV Residency, coimbatore and paid Rs 2453 in advance. But my friend canceled his trip, so made booking cancelled. The stayzilla acknowledged with following reply

''You have cancelled your Booking at Kv residency from 31st Dec 2016 to 1st Jan 2017.

Stayzilla will process your refund in accordance with the Free Cancellation Policy chosen by your Host. You will get a mail containing your refund details within 24 hours. Call Stayzilla Assistance at[protected] if you need any help.''

After two days, i asked stayzilla about refund particulars, they replied me

With reference to your order id[protected][protected], we see that the booking was confirmed and we have transacted the payment to the hotelier. However, you can review the cancellation policy below and the same thing is mentioned in your confirmation email as well.

Cancellation Policy: 100% REFUND if you cancel any time before check-in date.

However, you have requested to cancel the booking on Check in date itself. As per the cancellation policy, we are sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for the refund.
