[Resolved]  Sterling Holiday Resorts — Fraud commitment by sterling holidays

I received a call from Sterling Holidays stating that i have won 2N/3D stay and i should come there to collect the voucher. This incident happened in Pune on Sunday 27th Nov. 2016. They called me in the Tanishq Jwellery showroom J.M. road Pune. During the call i told them that I should not be forced to take your membership and can walk away with the free gift voucher if needed. They agreed upon the terms. After reaching there i was told about the membership plan and payment structure. I agreed upon that and the deal was to be done. The only condition I kept was that I will first avail the fee holiday coupon for 2N/3D and then pay the membership amount. I would like to see whether Sterling Holidays really stays to their commitments. Both the salesman and the manager gave a frowning look and started giving some vague arguments. After that they took my email id and told that i will receive the gift coupon next day. It is 5 days since then I haven't received any call or coupon code from their end. If such is the scenario, why should I trust Sterling Holidays. I am still ready to pay the membership fees but now I will definitely check the genuineness of the company and only then purchase the membership. If you are not capable of giving free coupons to the customers, then you should not make any false commitments. If I would have paid for the membership that, then I would have been too much frustrated by such an attitude and worst service.

Kindly look into this matter and please give me my coupon code for the free stay. I[censored] cannot do that, you have no right to call the customers and keep them engaged for 2-2.5 hrs busy hearing your presentation.

Dear Sir/Madam, This is regarding the query that i posted on complaint board and consumer complaints. The Sterling Holidays team and the concerned person reached to me within 48 hrs. Also, the holiday voucher was mailed to me. According to them it was just a typo error which was resolved and the voucher was mailed back to me. No issues, as i have received the voucher and looking forward for building relationship with them. Thanks & Regards, Dr. Chetan C Gund
