Sterling Holidays has marketing seminar arranged in Jamnagar in Feb 2017 where I was invited with my family to give presentation along with offer of 2 nights free trial at there resorts. Person representing from Sterling was Pratik Kulkarni who offered to give trial plan of 14 nights domestic and 1 week internation in RCI free for 106000 in which Rs 7000 would be refunded to bank account so net cost of Rs 99000 plan for validity 1.5 year and which can be further extended 1.5 years. After making payment of Rs 106000 which was asked to pay immediately. He asked me for cancelled cheque so that refund of Rs7000 will be credited to my bank account which I gave him. After few days he came presonally to collect cheque of Rs 100 to my office saying that cancelled cheque is misplaced and by this cheque refund of Rs 7000 will be credited to my account . I was really shocked to receive membership kit from sterling stating that you have taken mempership of Rs5lac with 12 EMI of Rs31000 for 25 years. I was cheated by Pratik Kulkarni instead of Trial membership of Rs106000 valid for 3 years he gave me membership of Rs5 lac valid for 25 years. Pratik at time of presentation offered that after trial period if you want to take membership of 25 years you can take. Very disappointed with Sterling Resort which is Thomas Cook subsidary cheating people like this. I protested and asked them to refund my money which they are refusing stating that time is already passed infact I received membership kit after 2 months of making payment. I have not used any of your holidays, and have given proof of all false commitment given by your sales person. But you seems to ignore those proofs and are not having any intention to refund my Rs 106000. Had I used any of your holidays it would be ok if you do not refund my Rs 106000. But since I have not used any of your holidays you are unjust in not refunding my Rs 106000.
We are cheated because we trusted Sterling Holidays-Thomas cook subsidiary.
Never imagined Sterling holidays behaving so poorly towards customers.
I request to amicable solve this issue and refund Rs 106000.
