[Resolved] Sun Direct DTH — Pathetic service
i apologize to self that i took a sun direct connection with the smart card [protected] and currently stay in trivandrum. . i think it was because of god's grace, the service worked till last monday 15 sept 2014 . It was then i noticed that i was getting the E06-4 smart card failure message on the screen. Like a normal customer, expecting a decent customer service i contacted the call center. He gave me complaint no 1-[protected] and asked me to wait for 48 hours with rs.150 in hand for the charges for the technician visit. I waited for 5 days and didn't get any call. I contacted the customer care center again on Friday early morning at around 4 am and informed that my previous complaint was closed without even calling me or checking the issue. The rep had only one sentence, " i apologize, i will create another complaint and forward to the technician ". I insisted to have the reason why the complaint was closed by the distributor which he didn't seem to hear or bother to answer, he kept on with his words " i apologize, i will create another complaint and forward to the technician ".i allowed him to create another complaint 1-[protected] and he promised me that they will send a tech within 24 hours. Hence i contacted the customer care again on Saturday at around 6pm, which was after 38 hours. I insisted on speaking to a manager, he said no managers are available and hence connected to a team lead. He was very particular that i should repeat everything that i spoke to the last tech including the smart card number. I did the same. He informed me that i can get the technician only on monday as sunday is a holiday. I said ok and hung up. On Sunday, at 10 pm i received a message saying that my complaint has been resolved, i was shocked to see the message as the so called team leader informed that sunday is a holiday and no technician will be available but the technician closed the ticket on a non working day. i called the customer care again and asked him why the complaint was closed. He transferred me to another guy who told me that his name ajeer khan and he is the supervisor was informed that they will create a complaint and forward to the technician.i got so irritated with that guy that i disconnected the call and called again and created a complaint again. 1-[protected]. today is sunday, 21 sept 2014..its been 7 days since i lost the service to my tv and its all because i chose sun direct.My money is getting deducted for all the days of no service for the company's fault. Giving me a faulty smart card and the worst customer service.Please tell me what else should have been done by me for getting this sorted out. I hardly get time to watch tv on weekdays and weekends are the only time i spend in front of the tv to watch sports and other movies. its all gone.I dont know what needs to be done.Kindly Help!!!

I had waited for a week with numerous calls to customer care to resolve my issue. with 12 hours of my complaint in this forum had the service lead from Sundirect call and apologize for the delay and had a tech to visit my place and resolve the issue.
