Hello, I'm Satheesh from Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu. Recently contacted Sun direct for "No Signal" issue. Initially, their response was not fair and they asked me to pay money to get this issue addressed. I denied saying that it's not a consumer responsibility, sun direct or their representative should own the responsibility. As a consumer, I can only pay for the monthly rent. Even after several discussion, they denied and finally took 375 rupees without providing a receipt. With this I completely felt like cheated. Upon further pressure from my side, they have provided the hand written bill which proves they are not professional also they assume the consumers as illiterates
Here, are the questions I have it in my mind. Please respond
1. Who should own the responsibility in case of an issue in the setup box/installation they initially provided?
2. In case consumer owns the responsibility, where it is clearly mentioned about the hardware replacement charge & service charge should be owned by consumer (not oral communication)
3. I heard from sun direct representative that they won't provide receipt for all these charges and that's the usual practice they follow since decades. Is that true?
4. Finally it's all about the attitude. They denied to answer my questions and bluntly told me to do whatever I can. Also, they quote that everyone is paying without asking anything and you don't you.
With all the above, I personally feel that there is no ethic, moral and transparency. Was this information helpful? |
