[Resolved] Sun Direct — insisting me to upgrade hd set top box when I already have one! | |||
My account number is [protected] and i have sun direct hd set top box with series n8771b. I used to watch hd channels earlier in 2016. But i have changed to sd channels for some reason. Now again i want to upgrade to hd channels. But you customer care executives says its mandatory to change my set top box by paying 699rs + visiting charges, otherwise i will not get hd channels. I did not understand this at all as i was able to get hd channels then its not possible again. Is this some kind of cheating customers? I write to nodal officer also but same response. We would like to inform you that, to view hd channels need to upgrade you set top box by paying the charges of rs.699/- upgrade charges (Without balance and validity) and rs.150/- service charges. We regret to inform you that, there is no feasibility for to upgrade your set top box with free of cost.
