I order two meals on the 24th of march, and both of the orders got cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown, and it said that the amount is refunded to my account and should get reflected in 5-7 days. It has been 8 days and i have not received the refund from either of the orders (A sum total of about 700 inr).
The bank confirms that there has been no refund, and yes i provided the reference number provided with the refund as well.
This is highly unacceptable, and now i dont know if swigggy has done this in the past as well, as i have received many "refunds".
I am going to take legal action if this does not get resolved. Especially in times of a crisis like the lockdown we are facing today, withholding someones funds is a criminal offence and i will sue for this, if i am able to. Was this information helpful? |
