Swiggy — unauthorized charge for membership subscription

I have a swiggy super subscription which is valid till 5th dec'19. On 28th nov swiggy added an additional amount in my order. I realized that the amount is higher than items i ordered for so contacted customer care. They said they have added the amount as my renewal charges for another 3 months. Without my permission and asking if i want to continue how can they renew my subscription a week prior to the expiry of my current subscription?? They refuse to give me the refund. By the way this charge is higher than the monthly charge for 3 months.

Updated by Heenah Got a call from the social media escalation team. Same old story...charges cannot be reversed and Swiggy cannot do anything about it. What is the point of running huge organizations if you want to cheat your customers by forced subscriptions?

Updated by Heenah I have done everything that has been asked for. As mentioned above I got a call from social escalation team too. She too could not help so am surprised to see this comment again!!
