Swiggy — unnecessary taken penalty! | |
Faced very bad service from swiggy team for my order # [protected]. Let me clarify you the issue as below: I saw a new web application called “swiggy pop” in my mobile swiggy app. For sake of curiosity, i wanted to check the same. So, i have clicked the round button (Swiggy pop) on my mobile screen and it took me to the food menu option. I didn’t understand much and i wanted to come out of same. But unfortunately, it got clicked one of the food item and automatically rs.150/- has been deducted from my pay tm wallet. Immediately within few seconds, i have called up swiggy customer care and explained everything. It didn’t take more than a minute since i have placed the order by mistake. But the customer care executive understood that i did it intentionally and i have to pay the penalty for this. I called 3-4 times to swiggy customer care and every time they said that, they will cancel the order but i have to pay the penalty of rs. 75/- and refund me the rest of the amount to my pay tm wallet. This is very ridiculous after you take the service from swiggy before so many times. There are many occasions where either swiggy cancelled the order or i did for some unavoidable reasons. But this is the first time where i had to pay rs. 75/- as penalty. Going forward, it should be the lesson for every customer of swiggy to install l "food panda" or "fresh menu" app in their mobile and order food from those apps only. The intention behind posting this information here is no other customer will be victimized like me and pay the unnecessary penalty. Was this information helpful? | |
