My bill amount is actually Rs. 260. The linesman has updated the card with Rs.260/- whereas we have received a computer generated bill which shows the bill amount as Rs. 16, 790/-.
We have already made several oral complaints to the Engineers at Korattur EB office.
Please consider this as a formal complaint and reverse the bill amount in the system.
Our bill payment due date is[protected]. We will be making a payment of Rs.260/- and we are not expecting any penality.
Please take note of the complaint and do the needful at the earliest.

1. I did NOT receive the bill in advance on email or on my phone. After the due date for payment passed, someone is standing outside my house saying I DINT PAY. How am I supposed to know a bill was generated without any intimation?
2. HOW DID YOU GENERATE THE BILL WITHOUT TAKING AN ACCURATE READING??
No one ever comes home to take the reading. My actual bill amount is Rs. 590 and I have consumed only 320 units between October and December (2018). But the computer generated bill amount was generated by blindly using the same reading from OCTOBER that shows 890 units of consumption and my bill was Rs. 4447/-. This is not accurate. and moreover, it includes delay penalty charges because of non intimation from TNEB.
We have already made several complaints, online and directly to the Engineers at Besant Nagar EB office about this but in vain. Here I am, yet again, being a victim of their unsystematic and disorganized approach. This is not the first time i am facing this issue. Last time I had to take the reading myself and go show it to EB to get a bill generated. NO one comes to take a reading and the bill amount generated is random.
Since my payment date has passed, I went ahead and paid the full amount. But kindly consider my complaint and reverse the excess bill amount to my system.
Looking forward to a proper resolve to this issue. Kindly assist.
