Tata AIG Insurance — car insurance premium payment

I made a payment of Rs. 8970 to Tata AIG for my car (DL 2CAU 1164) insurance on 7-7-2017 through my ICICI Bank credit card and got "success" message and on 18-7-17, after 11 days, I got the insurance policy. Now after a year, on 8-7-2018, when I requested them for renewal of my car insurance policy, they told me that previous policy was cancelled as the payment of 7-7-2017 was declined by ICICI Bank due to the reason "card was not enrolled for 3d secure". When I checked my credit card statement, I did not find any decline or reversal of the payment. Tata AIG never informed me about such cancellation. Pls clarify
