[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Unfair billing, followed by botched investigation and litigation for Tata DOCOMO Photon [protected] | |||
Hello Tata Docomo team Tata DOCOMO Photon [protected] On the 15th of November 2016, I had an issue with my Tata photon device. A service person visited my site and declared that my device wouldn't work anymore and I needed a new one. I was told to speak with your call center for further resolution. On speaking with your rep, I decided at that moment to not use the device and informed him of the same. I don't know why you are charging me bills for the device following that. I haven't used your services since the device conked off. I have the slip provided to me by your serive represenstive who visited me at home. His name is Aslam. He resolved the complaint on the 16th of November. He said hte device was faulty and couldn't be used any further. Service Request number[protected]. Now I have a legal litigation reminder. This is malpractice. If I have not used the service in hte months of December-January and January-February because there was no device, why am I being charged? You have to reverse these charges. Verified Support Feb 16, 2017 Tata DoCoMo Customer Care's response We tried to reach you at your number [protected] on 15-FEB-2017, however the number was not responding. With respect to the reference number[protected], please note that our engineer had confirmed you that the device is faulty and the same need to be replaced for which you had denied and wants to go for cancellation. Engineer had guided the procedure for cancellation and requested to dail[protected]. We had already communicated that we had cross checked our records and we did not found any interaction/intimation/request for disconnection of photon service. Hence, you had billed as per your tariff plan irrespective to the usage. Please be informed that the internet service for the photon number was permanently disconnected on 01-FEB-17 and the billing was stopped on 23-JAN-2017 with the reference number[protected] registered on 16-JAN-2017 and you had received your final bill under pro-rate basis for the period 03-JAN-2017 to 22-JAN-2017 with an amount of Rs. 1112.17. The current outstanding in your account is Rs. 4675 and due to be paid at earliest to avoid payment reminders. Please pay mentioning Photon Account Number[protected].
