I will start narrating a day (30th jan). I reached tata by 8.15 as i had an appointment for pet ct but bcz of person who had made an error putting an appointment for 30th dec, instead of 30th jan online, caused a lot of inconvenience
Rectifying it for an hour then waited till 5 for the number. After the pet ct was done at pet ct 2 we waited for 30min and started our journey back home... after 1 and half hour i get a call from pet ct 2 department asking where are we which made me question why? I got an answer that the scan is not clear and they needed to do more scan to get things clear but as i mentioned i am at kandivali i was told that its not a big issue and we can get it cleared in next scan. I mean really? Really is this a approach of health professional. Is this the value for some1ns life? There are few reasons for which patient is normally asked to wait and keep iv on for min 30min so that simultaneously scans could be crosscheck. As we know its not possible to get scan later for 3 months. Then why was my dads iv waa removed immediately after scan why was the scan not check for that 30min we waited. Why the protocols where not followed bcz today bcz of staffs carelessness my dad is going to stuffer not them. He is the 1n battling dead not them. How such careless approach can be acceptable? I have a strong trust and respect for tata hospital i really dont want that to be a mith. I request a strong action on this immediately if not i will really have to escalate the issue and stand for myself.
