[Resolved]  Tata Motors Finance — extorting money in name of charges.

In the faith of Tata group headed by the great Mr. Ratan Tata, I’m a patriotic person and hence always dreamt of buying an indian car made by an indian manufacturer. I really like tata motor cars and hence I zeroed upon a Tata Zest in the year 2016. I also financed it from Tata motor finance and it was the biggest mistake.

I’m hereby writing to tell you about the shabby service provided by one of your group companies Tata Motor Finance limited. I financed my car from Tata motor finance limited and bought the car from Marigold cars in bhandup and was very happy. The car emi is fixed upon Rs.11694/- every 2nd of the every month, the very first emi didn’t happen and was informed that there is some issue going and it will not be detected so I’ll have to pay it online or via cheque to the representative, I did paid it once online and was receiving calls from the collections till end of the month saying it is not reflecting in their account that they have it with HDFC, so, henceforth, I never paid it online instead asked the representative to collect it from home, he did it every month as the ECS was not getting deducted every month, so I did visit the office at vashi and it was more like a govertment office, wasted almost two hours and the system was down and later the person was not available. I once again paid it at the branch office of Tata motors at vashi and again filled the form for ECS and was told that it is been retectified and will be deducted every month now onwards.
Today the car is now almost two years old and not even one ECS is been deducted from my account. Till today every month I have to sign a cheque to Tata motor finance of the emi that is not deducting via ecs.
The reason to write this email is that ECS is not working since day one the car was purchased in the month of July’2016, the charges are now been charged to me as the ECS is not working. My concern is if the issue is on your end still the customer has to bear the charges, I was not informed about the charges last month, this the month the collections department is informing me that there is an outstanding charge of four thousand rupees that is the charges was the amount not deducting via ECS. I’m also been informed that till the time I do not pay the outstanding charges they will not allow to fill in a new form to re validate the ECS facility, customers are forced to pay charges its like exorting the money forcefully.
I request you to kindly check the issue with the concern department and waive the extra fees that is been charged to me along with help me to resolve the issue of ECS. I still have faith in TATA group of companies and the former chairman Mr. Ratan Tata.
