I have been facing several problems in my car since the date of purchase.
I would like to list down all of them resolved or unresolved which were reported but ignored because of the assuring statements made by the service centre representatives quoting them as normal issues or 'not to be considered as an issue at all'. So, here are these:
1. On the day of the car purchase the vibrations in the car while braking at high speeds was observed. Resolved- but, had to leave the car again for a few days at the service centre, wasted my fuel and time explaining the issue to the people there.
2 .I still hear some vibratory noise while accelerating in the cabin. Initially it was claimed to be some problem in the snorkel or the throttle valve but it looks more like a production issue in Altroz.
3. The roof lamp turns off randomly and sometimes it does not at all, when the car is locked. To turn the light off I have to crank the car again, or turn the ignition on or such random activities and lock the car, stand outside waiting to see the light turn off. This was reported to the service centre, for the first few times verbally and was ensured to check the car for the fault. As per the technical guys, everything was found working fine and I was assured this will not reoccur. In the third service this was reported in the service issues also, everything was checked once again by the electrical experts, the problem was not apparent, as it was seen at random instances and no 'proof of the issue' could be provided at the time of inspection. Still the problem persists, unresolved.
4. Engine overheating. This problem appeared a few days back and was also reported to the technical service guys at the service centre. Unresolved. Was this information helpful? |
