[Resolved] Tata Motors — tata nexon xma petrol | |||
Hi, Since the day I bought Tata Nexon which was delivered on 26th August 2018, the Rakshabandhan day, I am having two major issues with it and seems the product I recd is either not QC checked or faulty. Have registered complaint about them with TMSC at the first and second free service as well as on the TMSC Mobile App from Tata Motors. They have only been updating the software in both the services and Once they kept the vehicle for 8 days again to check but only sent me saying they have again updated the software and let us know if the issue occurs again. My car registration number is MH04 JM 6206 The two major product faulty issues are as follows 1. Tata boasts of its driving mode but those seem to be faulty as they change automatically, sometimes just stop functioning and complete nuisance when they keep changing with the associated alarm( Check my videos to suffer them). This issue occurs regularly on long distance drives. As soon as I started taking my Nexon on long tours, I started facing harassment from my Nexon. The driving modes started changing automatically and the indication sound associated with it making your life hell continously doing tan tan tan…It stops automatically and display goes off and you getting stuck on whatever mode it stopped. the modes then dont work anymore. Have made many videos of it and gave it to Concorde TMSC Thane who are yet to resolve this issue till date. They said they have involved manufacturer for it but nothing happened. My vehicle ( just four months old) was with them for more than a week and they were not sure of its delivery. I just visited them to check what is happening and they handed over me the vehicle saying the software was now updated by their expert technician and it won't happen anymore. This similar issue is also faced by many others who have uploaded the videos on youtube. I have now myself found out some users who faced the same issue to check what the problem is and asked TMSC to check with the other Service centres who have found out the cause of it and solved it. I am hoping something is done soon. 2. The second major issue is The car would just not shift to Automatic from Neutral on city signals sometimes. This is again a major issue as normally in city traffic signals you bring it to neutral while stopping at signals. To my utter embarrassment, once signal turns green the car would not shift to auto/drive from neutral after trying several times and the whole traffic is stuck honking from behind. The issue was not felt after first service but again resurfaced after second serviceand is there till date. I am not asking Tata any much more as there are many small issues like rattling noise, steering going hard on reversing, fogging of lights, screeching noise etc. But being a new car buyer you just shouldn't provide such product which is not tested properly on its reliability or at least proactively acknowledge the problem and send the resolution but not make people beg or plead for resolution I salute Tata Motors for making a globally recognized safe product but If I am not able to drive it due to its reliability and vehicle being most in TMSC…..I am anyways safe!!!
