I have made a complaint last week the complaint no. is 1-[protected]. also made several telephone calls to the customer care executives. but i feel to inform you that nobody bother to attend the matter till today @ 10.50 Am. Please do the needful and oblige.

TataSky — non delivery on the digicom

sir i have purchased a digi com on the 1st of nov i was tolld that the same will deliverd to my place within 48 hrs but it was not done so inspite me calling the call center i was informed that itold them to delever the digicom on 4th nov but ihave never said them to so the id no is [protected] please try to keep up the promise and do not spoil the name &fame of tata

    I had told my local dealer to recharge for Rs 1100 on 28/04/2010 for which he gave me a slip and said that recharge will be done. Today when my tv was disconnected i got to know that he had not done the recharge don't know where the money went. On asking him he said he had done the recharge and the amount is used already.
    When i made him speak to the tata sky customer care, the customer care said that the recharge is not done and the dealer said he'll do the recharge now itself.
    I told him that i do not want the recharge now i'll move to the consumer court as its been 3 months since i have asked him to do the recharge..

    We are bonafied customer as we taken Disc connection with Digi-camp of Tata sky 3 month ago, now we required two more connection in the same building at A E-27 New town AA- I Kolkata - 700156.from your dealer M/s. Sunshine, Kestopur, Kol. Your dealer representative Mr Ranjit came and installed two connection out of which one at right place and other in place were we did not asked to install. Therefore, one connection is working and another is cannot be use on account of install at wrong place. We paid Rs.2000/- and extra Rs.200/-. Now when we calling to rectifying the wrong connection he is refusing to do the same, as when ever we phone he is saying he will come tomorrow.since 11.12.10, but till date he has not turned to rectify the same. We have spoken to Ms.Soma Das at Sunshine, and spoken to Mr.Ranjit who is refusing to ratify the mistake. We presume the reason for his indifferent behavior is as he asked Rs.500/- for extra connection ( add-on).

    Kindly arrange to do the needful. It is our earnest request to take proper action against the dealer. As they jeopardising your brand name.Kindly look into the matter on priority basis.

      I didnt recharge my Tata Sky TV for 2 months as i was out of country. when i am back i just wanted to ercharge. but saw that there is no signal coming to my receiver. so after a great struggle i called Tata SKY customer care and reached mr. rajesh (from ccs). He reached my ID through my mobile number then he said some steps to repair the problem. but didnt work. As there is no signal coming. He then asked me to recharge my ID number as they will cut 350 rs for a visit of an engineer. I asked why shoul i pay a default of Tata sky which i am suffernig. he replied after 1 year warranty ends and customers should pay for these visits of engineers. It was an amazing conversations with this gentleman from Tata sky while i was insisting him why do i pay of a visit of an engineer in my own even we dont know what is the problem. then he cut the phone. i hope it was recorded and any other executive will see this rude service! to a customer. and i suggest my delhi collleagues to not to gp for Tata sky tv services as they will suffer. I will stop using Tata sky services and will buy immediately an another service provider.

      I know someone who faced similar problem and the following step may help you out there is a service offered by Tata Sky which is called Temporary suspension - in which subscribers can suspend their viewing services temporarily for a minimum period of a month and a maximum period of three months. You should check whether your account status is active or not it is mostly recommended to go for Temporary suspension on such occasions (vacation, travel, exams etc). The customercare will try their best to resolve the case on call itself because technician visit also cost the Co. alongwith the subscriber as most of the technicians are third party. Under AMC tech visit is covered and so for the first year warranty period tech visit is for free but after that charges will be applied and this is applicable to all the DTH providers. If your account is inactive they can definitely set it up from their end you will only have to subscribe to a pack of your choice and there will also not be any need for a tech visit.

          I am customer of TATASKY sevice residing at Mulund/ Mumbai city. My next recharge to the TATA SKY was due on may 2011 but my service was discontinued by TATA SKY on 22/07/2010 with unknown reason. TATASKY's IVRS number is hopeless. There is no responsible person available in TATA SKY who can solve my problem. I have spoken to many numbers of people on TATA SKY on [protected] like Ashish, Anil etc etc. but they will not solve your problem. It seems that I have invited trouble by paying money to TATASKY. I did blunder taking TATA SKY service of DTH. They have cheated me. They are 420 people.Before complete disconnection at random (even though i have lot of balance amount in TATASKY account) they have suddenly disconnected four movie channel. On asking the reason for this they kept silence.I feel like lodging police complaints against TATASKY service for cheating me as there is nobody in TATASKY for redressal of complaints.

          I too have taken Tata Sky subscription. Recently some new software loading started automatically on it & after that it is total black out. I have lodged complaint at their helplines no. but total irresponsible answers saying - 'our engineer has attended your problem, etc." I asked where's my sign, they became quite. On further questioning they only say - 'hmm, hmm, hmm.' . They only give dates thru' sms but all false hopes & lies.Thus they are making mockery of the customers & also of themselves. 10 days have passed to my complaint, but nobody turned up till date.

            I have recently bought a Tata Sky Set-Top Box along with my new apartment in Sector 4 Vaishali, Ghaziabad. I had called uo the Tata Sky customer care no. on 10.07.10 and requested them to install the Set-top box at my residence. A Tata Sky Engg. came and cheked the system but he did not install the system reasoning weak signal and that he does not have the required instruments to complete the installation. He promised us to come back the following day. Since then, it has been 4 days and I have been calling Tata Sky Customer Care No. every day for completion of my installation, but everytime they are only giving some or the other excuses and committing it to be completed within the day.
            No body from Tata Sky has reverted back so far.

            Tata Sky — Not yet installed

            Tata sky is most unprofessional company in the dish tv business. They are the most cheater. I have purchased a Tatasky digicom bearing sr. no.[protected]days before. But still date they have not installed the same in my place. Everyday they are promising to come and install, but all in vain. I have made so many calls to them, but getting standard answer engineers already taken slot for installation, but not yet come. I have taken 3days leave for the same, but their peopel have not yet come. Please do not buy Tata sky dish else you cry all your life.

            Tata sky is most unprofessional company in the dish tv business. Customer Service is on the Top of All. I have recieved Setp top Box on 2nd June08 & committment was to install the same immediately after 24hrs of information to Tata Sky. but the gimic behind the story is on[protected] which is supposed to be 24x7 service with associates, i am not at all getting connected to associates after 5 minutes longers auto answering. Since Monday onwards i had not less that 20 to 30 call holding for Associates to help me out. My children are getting frustrated as based on committment of Tata Sky, i have not gone for local Cable connection. This is highest disgusting situation in the Tatas- Group companys going for ISO & TLPs.

            Tata Sky — after 4 days not installed dish

            tata sky first instruments they delivered within 6 hours after requesting. for installation of dish they are continue saying our customer will come today and making daily greate promised but they are not come yet, even they are not attending the phone also, if attending then simply say this is wrong/giving another answers. in my whole life did see like that poor services. i will never suggest to anybody take tata sky new connection.

            I have purchased tata sky online on June 2, 2010 after the transaction was done I got my transaction ID. But, after that I have never received any call from Tata Sky confirming my payment. I called them on June 3, 2010 and accessed my records and told me that it will be installed in a couple of days. I again called on June 4, 2010 they asked my phone number ([protected]) and accessed my records.

            As today (7 June 2010) is 6th day after my order, I called them up and now they are saying that there is no record on my name with the given phone number (Automatically all my records have vanished!!!). There is only inquiry request. I tried to convince them that I have placed my order online after 20 min of discussion and waiting time, they have accessed my record somehow and now they are saying that they will again process it and it may take upto 7 days to get my set top box and installation, and given me service request number- ds[protected] to communicate further.

            This is a total rip off from them, as I can definitely not wait for 7 days again with keeping my new TV in box. I suggest you to take some appropriate action asap.
            Update: I got my tata sky set top box in mail, but still not sure about whats wrong with their call center
            It has been unfortunate for you, my personal experience has been very good. The sales team were very co-operative with me and called me before sending the delivery. To solve your issue you should connect to the customer-care and report your grievance of non-installation and also provide details of the previous engineer. I am sure they will definitely assist you in the installation process. Weak signal may be the case if the dish is installed in a low reception area. hopefully your problem should be sorted.

            Tata Sky — Installation of TATA sky

            I called TATA sky on 19th August to get a connection. on 20th august i recieved 4 phone calls from them to pay the entire amount. I have paid up 4049/-. I followed up with them on 21st (friday) Saturday, sunday and 23rd (monday) to install the service. still no one has come to install the service
            - call center executives are most unhelpful and refuse a refund and dont give a time when I can get my connection
            - I want all my money back and I want to cancel the connection
            -Tejaswari your call center executive had promised me a full refund if the service was not installed in 48 hours
            - Sachin Tikone has promised the same.

            Today an engineer came to my residence and left the box without installing it … PLEASE CANCEL MY CONNECTION AND GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK

            Sir, as our firm 6 tettra school has purchased a LE 5300 LED TV along with we get the offr of free tata sky dth,to install the same we made a request to your call center at chennai on 30 Mar 2011, they have provided us with the id no [protected] and service request no 1-[protected] and promised the installation will be made with in 72 hrs but as on date no body from your end has made a call to us till today. As this firm is a govt organization will lead to a legal action against you.

            we also having same bad experience about re locating our tata sky set-up-box.
            they have not executed our work in seven days and not got the irresponsible reply from tata help line number
            we people do not aspect such irresponsible attitude from tata brand.
            TATA SKY SUCKS!!!!! we decided to get a Tata sky connection on 22 Oct...so we cald JUST DIAL & asked fr sum options.....immediately we started getting several calls from companies selling TATA sky.....we choose a J.S ELECTRONICS..who sent his rep wt an installation brochure...the guy insisted on cash payment before installation....a practice which seemed strange as you would normally pay after services provided ....he took a cash payment of rs.3050 & agreed to send a technician at sharp 11.oo am fr installation ......after several calls from 11 to 1.45 pm...a technician arrived & on inspection the area ..said that it would not b possible to fix as he had not carried sum equipment.....strange again as he ws supposed to come prepared fr the installation....spoke to sum one by the name of Rakesh Cahturvedi who promised that the technician would b here at 5pm to do the needful...its 5.45pm....& there is no sign of the technician.....A WORD OF CAUTION TO ALL WHO WISH TO FIZ A tata sky CONNECTION.....DO NOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT TILL THE JOB IS DONE.......THEY ARE BIGGGGGGGGGG CHEATS....

            My complain in writing was like this.

            I am a user of Tata Sky since 2009. I relocated on 24-25 Apr 13 and contacted CSR Delhi for a second set top box. The CSR (Himanshu I think) told me that relocation charges would be waivered for me. Incidentally it was only fitment of antenna. I recharged Rs 100 on that day. Subsequently I recharged Rs 514 again. When I later saw my statement I realised that Rs 300/ has been debited from my account contrary to what was promised. On 11 May vide complaint No 1-[protected] I raised a complaint to erroneous charging for installation. I was told someone would revert to me. Till 16 May no one did. On 16 May I again contacted CSR (Altaf) who told me no such complaint existed. On asking him to lodge a complaint he refused and also declined to give a complaint no. after a lot of persuasion and wait he connected me to a supervisor by the name of Aaron who not only was rude but also un-willing to listen. Aaron refused to do anything about the issue and suggested that I can raise the issue at any level but Tatasky will not credit the amount to my account. He did give me a C No 1-[protected].
            I fail to understand as to why a company cann’t decide on it’s policies and the customer service personnel cheat the customer’s by sugar coated poison pills. Rs 300 is a small amount but it is the ethics and policy which is in question here.

            Can you please revert to me on this issue at the earliest before I raise the levels.

            this is what happened on 18 May 13

            Some one called Rekha called he up on 18 May 13. and to my horror she disclosed that both the c nos given by me are not registered. which can only mean that either the call centre in delhi is not a authorised call centre or Tatasky is giving a c no but not registering it in their system. both of which are not only against the law but in my opinion they are anti customer.

            she also very apologetically said she could not revert my Rs 300. which is understandable because if the company has decided to do fraud it will in any case, and the customer has no way to find out how it does because the call centre people don't give any written confirmation nor a confirmation by mail or SMS.

            i hope some one in TATASKY take some action on

            a. returning my Rs 300
            b. its employee who have taken my complaint, given me a fraud complaint no.
            c. assure that the no. of call centre in delhi given on their web site is correct.

            Tata Sky — Poor response

            I am trying to contact tata sky last two days but no any response from them I have lost about 45 rs. On phone. No toll free no. I want tata sky toll free no.

              Sir,

              I had booked a new DTH connection, of Tata Sky, online on date 02/07/2010. After booking I have not received the hardware until I called to Tata Sky, after that I received the hardware through courier on date 09/07/2010 (8 days after booking). The hardware I received, was already registered to another person in different city. So when I tried I was unable to online register with that hardware (with Digicomp and Digicard No.). I also have called so many times to costumer care (around 2.5 hrs talked) but still problem has not been solved. I have complained about this problem to local Gwalior Dealer (From where I received hardware). He said that there is no problem, and advised me to complete my installation, after that he will solve the problem. He sent an engineer and completed the installation on Sunday 11/07/2010, and also gave me subscribers ID [protected], but again when I tried to register with this subscriber ID then againm I found that this ID has already been registered in the name of some other person whose name is Prateek Tyagi. Now after all these headaches I would request you to kindly have a look into this matter as it has been a matter of tension for me. Its an earnest request to resolve out the matter as soon as possible.

                My name Is Aditya Sharma and I have been using Tata Sky as my DTH service operator for the past 2 years.. my account id is [protected]. It has been 10 days since my digicom is not working..had been notified to the customer service thru emails and phone calls but nobody has come yet to rectify it and Tata Sky has been charging my daily rent for services which I am unable to see.. my digicom was replaced in April 2010 and I had to pay 500 rs for that now they are again asking me to pay this amount in case if there is any fault in that.. also I got my account recharged for 500 on 30june which shows 74 negative balance on 12july. There is a deduction of 350 for visit charges which never happened.. there has been several cases o[censored]nnecessary charges in last two years.. Nobody bothers in customer service and field team to take action to fix these problems..keep saying that it will be done and reversed..field team says somebody will come in 48-72 hrs whenever they communicate with me.. I m sick and tired now cause of these services..like to get rid of them at the same time like to teach them a lesson so that such stealing from customers can be stopped.. please advise..                   We have installed the Tata Sky digicomp provided by the Society which was purchased about one and half year before. But on installation the digicomp never started. We have lodged the complaint with the Tatasky Help line attended by Ms Varsha (?) on 28/06/2010 at about 22.30 hrs and the Complaint no [protected] was given to us, saying that the engineer will attend the complaint within 24 hours. Nothing has happened since then. My old age parents are waiting for the TV to start. We are facing lot of loneliness and hope that our Complaint will be attended at the earliest. Or we may have to escalate to elsewhere ..?

                      On 13th of June 2010, I had requested a connection on Tata Sky at my Rented Flat (Details of which are: Flat No.3, Plot No.32, Vishal Sneh Society, Bombay Sappers Colony, Wadgaon Sheri, Pune - 411014.).
                      I had been asked to made a payment of 1599 INR which I made Immediately through my Tata Card - Credit Card on Phone at around 19:15 on 13th June 2010 itself and I had been promised that installation will be completed within 48hrs and I will be contacted for appointment also.
                      Till the evening of 15th June 2010 no appointment was made, installation was still a distant dream. When I started calling customer care on[protected] from the morning of 16th June 2010 response was not at all pleasing despite the Service Level Agreement – SLA (Committed 48hr) was well breached and on every occasion my call was put on hold for long durations and minimum 10 minutes of hold seems to be a regular affair. When I started complaining about it, respondent promised me to call back but even that didn’t happen.
                      Today on 17th June 2010 at around 10:20 AM I received a call stating that I will again receive a call from installation department for appointment and installation will be done in the next 48hr, since they have received the request on 16th June 2010.
                      Now, no one seems to be taking the responsibility of breaching the SLA. Its look like Tata Sky is offering me a favor by giving me a service despite receiving money from my side they no shame for giving a pathetically slow service.
                      Call records can be checked for the complaints that I have made, since call centers record all communications for training purpose. My details are given below:

                      TataSky — no hardware installed

                      I had paid Rs 4049/- on 2nd September 2010 towards a new installation of Tatasky and a 1 yr subscription on the condition that the system would be installed within 48 hrs. However much to my disgust and inconvenience I was subsequently informed by a person at their Pune call centre that the 48 hrs is equivalent to 6 days . According to him the working time per day is 8 days and hence 48 hrs on prorata basis is 6 days. All my complaints to the respective enquiry section and to their CEO remain unanswered till date. It is rather sad to learn that a group company of Tata's who are so disciplined and known the world over for their sincerity is behaving in such a unprofesional manner.
                      Mr Ratan Tata pl intervene .not for my sake, but surely in the interest of reputation of your esteemed group.

                        Only my dish antenna got unfixed in our society. Whose reponsibility would it be if it fell on someone ?
                        Such famous companies should keep commitments

                            Sub- Feedback on the service

                            There is no proper feedback mechanism in place. I have called up the customer service a couple of times and sent mails and was assured that the feedback would be taken into consideration but nothing has changed. It seems that Tata Sky is not bothered even tough there is more competition now!

                            A couple of issues to rectify which may help you in retaining old customers:

                            1. Exorbitant prices for a large number of channels which I do not watch. Why do you not have a la carte channel pricing or atleast let the customers create there own bouquet of channels rather than taking a base pack and then the various add-ons. I have paid as high as Rs. 400 per month even though I only have 10-15 channels which I regularly watch. Since you have cleverly spread the 'most watched channels' into multiple add-on packs (sports, entertainment, new launches etc.). Do you have any idea about your competitor's pricing? This would clearly not work for you in the long run.

                            2. Very difficult to get in touch during signal disruptions/bad weather. If there is even light rainfall, windy conditions etc. the channels blackout. Which may be understandable for a while but for a few hours? During this time it is very difficult to get in touch with the customer helpline.

                            3. Increase the number of call center executives. A toll free number (I realize you have one now - hidden deep in the website in small font!), real time chat service on the website. A faster loading website. For people who have to hold for over 3 minutes arrange a call back.

                            4. More transparency overall.

                            P.S. - A wonderful thing about the toll-free number - [protected] - First they make you hold for a long time then an executive finally attends and by the time you have explained your issue there is a prompt - "Sorry the maximum time for this call has lapsed." It is time bound - not solution bound. So much for customer service!

                            I purchased a LG LED TV along with which i get a tat sky connection for free. althouigh i have to pay for the installation. I had purchased it an around november. it has been 4 months now and i still havent recieved my connection. Every time i call the costumer care they give very vague answers or cut the call instatntly. i have made several calls in this regard but in vain. I said that i will give a consumer complaint if the problem is not dealt with. N the supervisor boldly says GO ahead.

                            This is really a nuscance and i strongly recommend people to not buy from tata sky. and opt for better service providers in terms of quality of connection and service such as Airtel.

                              I saw your campaign on TV to write directly to [protected]@tatasky.com and I thought of giving it a try. Let me know if you are really serious about "Write Directly to CEO" campaign or it is just a marketing gimmick?

                              3 people in my company have switched from Tata Sky to other service providers because of the way you are managing your customers. It might be a small number but it does tell a story if customer matters to Tatasky.

                              I have 3 Tatasky connection - One at my home and 2 for my parents and grand parents. Seeing your treatment, I am also planning to switch to other service providers. Of course the only reason I am giving a second thought is because of the set top box cost involved in switching.

                              I thought of shooting my grievance directly to your CEO and check his response before I make final decision and also warn all my friends who have been thinking about getting a Tatasky for their home.

                              Here's my list…..
                              1. The cost of the same package keeps increasing every year without any new value being added to that package. How do you justify that?
                              2. The new channels are ALWAYS paid channels in Tatasky while it is free in other service providers. Whenever a new channel is available, you always bundle 3-4 channels for Rs 45 per month while it remains free in other service providers schemes. What happened to your CEOs message "To be Competitive and Best DTH Service Provider in India" pledge?
                              3. You keep sending promotional SMSes without our permission and in spite of my number being in Do Not Disturb Registry. Is that not a breach of privacy?
                              4. Your site is always over loaded and your call center folks encourage everyone to pay over phone. How do you justify your increase in charges when you cant even keep your site up and running.
                              5. "Setup box is sold to the customer and belongs to the customer." That’s what your call center folks say when someone wants to return the set top box or complains about set top box. If that's the case, how can you update the software without the permission of the user? Moreover, you update the software to have more space for your promotions and during channel switch.
                              6. We are paying for the service so that we can watch channel and not your Ads. With new software update, every channel switch takes 30% of screen space to show your Ads. How can you start showing Ads without our permission?
                              7. With this software update, it takes 2 clicks to go to a channel. First click will show the channel in a small box with your promotional material beside it. Only on second click, it shows the channel full screen. That’s called keeping Customer's Interest ahead of anything else….
                              8. Tatasky even make a frame around the screen and show the ad while watching channels like Discovery, Nat Geo etc. "Wow! I always wanted to pay Tatasky to usurp my screen space so that I can watch their Ads and pay them as well."
                              9. As if we are not yet fed up, an yellow message alerts keeps showing at the top of the screen indicating some serious notifications from your side. Clicking on it tells you to "Subscribe to Learn English" promotions. You definitely know what is caring for customer.
                              Don’t you think it should not show any promotional material apart from the account information without our permission?
                              10. My phone number is registered with NATIONAL DO NOT DISTURB registry. In spite of that Tatasky folks don’t hesitate to give you a call to sell their Tata Sky Plus. When you tell them that your number is "DO NOT DISTURB" Registry, they will say sorry and disconnect only to give you another call the very next day for Tata Sky Plus. And this goes on….
                              I never knew DND Registry was for everyone EXCEPT Tatasky.

                              Now it’s your CEOs turn to address issues rather than choosing to start some other marketing gimmick somewhere else.

                              With the reference of a call log number 1-[protected], hereby I am making a complaint in a very furious manner just because o[censored] pepole the way u r serving the way u r handling the call, the way u r committing the services, even don't know the mean of commitment of calls n TAT?even don't know yours employee how to talk like Dinesh[protected] @ saket Branch who r coordinator ? They will even don't know what is the complaint mean to whom they r representing like a TATA venture ? Will be better first learn the mean of commitment the will talk better serve to us? If you have some basis curtsy then improve yourself and make it finish immediately else...u like ?
                              Your service is atrocious.
                              For ONE complaint that is logged with TATA SKY there are at least 10+ calls for verification, checking, registering etc etc etc. I am fed up answering the calls. Who has the time?????? To answer so many calls. The job is yet to be done.

                                The local customer care center had fitted faulty DIGICOMP & they have bated that if our DIGICOMP is faulty we will give 1000 bugs & when they realized their mistake they are neglecting to replace the DIGICOMP.Your CCE had called me & asked me to recharge the AC but how can i trust TATA SKY as they are unable to solve a minor problem & not capable of problem solving.I have to undergo mental harassment from TATA SKY.Still no one is ready to help as if TATA SKY doesn't need Customer.Since last 15 days everything is out of control of TATASKY.Is TATASKY capable of solving 1 customers complaint or not???????

                                  4. It is requested to TRAI to kindly look in to the matter when the annual subscription for the already running and Add-on Connection has been paid then why this dodging attitude.

                                  5. Tata Sky is no applying the guidelines framed by TRAI and so the commitment and the deposits made by the customer in advance for annual subscription is being hotch-potched.

                                  6. That if Tata Sky had any objection to the commitment made then why the payment had been received in advance from the customer on annual basis. Rather to give relaxation to the customer.

                                  7. It is prayed that Tata Sky should execute the committed deal and should not harass the customer by deducting the amount deposited in advance on annual basis.

                                  8. Kindly direct Tata Sky not to execute one sided agreement, the company is not authorized to take decision unilaterally by enhancing the monthly subscription on the committed deal and deducting the amount as promised in the deal. This is highhandedness with the customers.

                                  Last year Subcription Annual Grand pack (Rs 3850) does not exisit now...all other options are expensive.
                                  You ae charging Higher amount for the same Set of channels..than last year. (Rs 4000/-+) Means more charges no extra services.
                                  I dont watch sports or Kids channels so the "Grand Sports Channel" (Rs 4000 plus)*which is more expensicve - does not make sense to me.

                                    I am not sure whether this email will make a difference but I am still going to try – I come from the city of Jamshedpur and being a Tata City, I have always respected the company for the amazing trust they have build amongst their stakeholders.

                                    However all that got shaken yesterday because of the really bad experience I had with TataSky. Here is a summary

                                    I have just moved from Gurgaon to Hyderabad and had requested a relocation support from the company. I was promised (I have a sms) that the technician will take my call at 5 PM. I got a call from the local office at 3 PM that the technician is on its away and should be there anytime now. I was delighted – However I guess that was premature. There was no sign of the technician till 5:30 PM. Then I decided to call the call-centre and they said he is on the way and should be there by 6:00 PM . They gave me the number of the technician – who confirmed the same.

                                    6:15 happened – there was no sign of the technician. I once again called the call center and they said He is outside your house and should be there in 2 mins …6:30 – Same story ; 7:00 PM same story… I tried calling the technician and he had switched off his mobile phone .. I called the central call centre – they tried to find out what happened and said they will ensure the technician is there by 7:30 PM. 8:00 PM there is no one to be seen – The call centre guy now says he cant to do anything the thing will be fixed only on Monday.

                                    It is 2:30 in the afternoon on Monday and there is no sign of any technician – I am just completely frustrated with the service. I mean the long years of trust that the group has built is completely shattered now. I just think it was a wrong decision to go for tata sky

                                    Can you atleast specify what your problem was? I find it very hard to believe what you have written. No one will charge you for packages which you have not taken. You complaint sounds full of exaggeration. If Tata Sky is so bad then why are you continuing to use it. I use TS too and never had such issues.

                                    Tata Sky — Bad service and pathetic response from company

                                    Tata sky has the worst possible service. They keep charging for engineer visits, who do not resolve the problem, or do a temporary resolution. Call center executives simply tell nothing can be done. Our TV goes off for a few days every few months. Engineers do not come when they are scheduled inspite o[censored]s getting SMS confirmations. When they do come installation and repair is faulty. Call centers simply tell us in their polite manner that nothing can be done till the next day...which actually goes on for days. They keep our credit card numbers and debit charges for packages we have never bought and services which they have not given.

                                    Most of the channels do not come even though we have subscribed to the full package and as usual the response is we cannot do anything about this...can we help you further...

                                    It is the most unethical, unprofessional company we have ever come across. A lot of the times when we question the service center we are kept on hold for 30 min as "we will get back...please hold on", after which the phone disconnects. In the past one week, since our service has not been working once again we have spent over 8-9 hours with them and as usual no solution.

                                    I don't know whether below Experience will make the in Tata Sky Service or not. On November 5th 2010 I booked TATA SKY (new Connection) through Phone, and i paid them throgh Phone, ( I called [protected]) I paid them 2844 ( One year Subscription + 999 ) . They said its going to be installed on Monday (8th November 2010) i called them on Monday at 3:30 PM they said like your transaction was in Cancelled Status, i asked for the Reason, they haven't told any thing and they said like some how it got a cancelled, and after that i spoke with one of the Senior executive she told like some where some mistake was done, it will not happen for anybody, somehow your request got delayed. I said Okay and i asked them to install it on Tues day. they said Okay. On tues day i called in the morning to the same number and they told like with in 48 hours we will see when we are going to install. I said like you people told me that you are going to install today. then she said Ohh... then we will install Today at any cost, i asked her whether i can take this as Verbal Confirmation on installation. She said Definitely yes sir .

                                    I was waiting for their call and i haven't got any call from them and i called Tatasky Again, they weere telling all old story again. and I asked them one point if they are not sure of when they are going to install it, then why you have Committed for a Date. there is no response from them.

                                    there is a Clear coordination problem between them, they are saying like they have logged my ticket ( Concern) yesterday and when i called them today and i asked the what is the status of that Ticket there is no answer from them. Because of name sake if we go, its utter waste to take TATA SKY. Service wont be good. the Response won't be good. its better to go for other Service provider Other than TATA SKY.

                                      Tata Sky — Customer care not responding

                                      I have been trying to get in touch with the Customer care, in order to query about the black out of Ten sports and ESPN, for the past 4 days and was never able get connected to a technical associate.

                                      Is there any way I can speak to the customer care or the concerned people?
                                      i want to take a new connection of the tata sky i pay with my credit card on 13/7/2008 and iam not sutisified and iam still not riching in my home so whean can i geat a new connection and today is 17/7/2008 and my contack no is :[protected]
                                      Unable to login to the Tatasky website for the last 3 days as I want to recharge my account online.

                                      TataSky — NOT RESPONDING TO HELP LINE NUMBERS

                                      I wanted to change to a lower package and I have been trying their helpline[protected] since 1st May 2010 and though I'm able to go upto the menu and choose options there after a recorded message about one of their product comes repeatedly at the cost o[censored]s -- I'm charged for the long unending wait time.

                                      This is happening for 2 days and today 2th May 2010, I was trying again and things have not chaged. I'm unable to change from higher package to lower package and tatasky would be deducting an higher amount.

                                      This is a delibrate attemp to extract money from customer without allowing consumer to change by not providing proper service.

                                      I want Tatasky to refund the money they would deduct from 1st May until they rectify this problem.

                                      In case of downgrade you will have to call the customer care to do so. This function is not available in the website however, the best part is that there are no charges for downgrade whereas some of the other dth players do charge for downgrade. The number[protected] is appropriate if you are from Kolkatta, general MTNL/BSNL lines:[protected]. You should be able to get through by these numbers. During peak hours lines maybe busy in case of pending calls the Co.arranges for callback. It does work 24*7 allowing you to call at your convenience. The customercare will be able to downgrade and charge depending on the date of downgrade as you make the payments on the specified date they will not be able to deduct any amount unless you have paid in advance. In case you have paid in advance and still wish to go for a downgrade find out regarding the terms and conditions in concern to this matter by getting in touch with the customercare. Additional amount will not be deducted from your account but according to the payment made by you.
                                      Since last three days i am trying to call tata help line but they are disconnecting the phone after dialing 5 number to speak to technical support, till data i have spend around 500 rupees just behind the call to help line. kindly refund my money with interest. very very poor services from tata sky. bhavesh bhatt

                                        This is bring to your notice the appalling service I received from Tata Sky in the last few days. I've been a subscriber with you since 2007 & I have never had an issue with the service provided by Tata Sky, untill now.

                                        My Tata Sky service hasnt been working for the last one & a half week & I've made several calls to your call centre but there's been a lapse in the service I've received. On the 23rd of May 2010, when I called, I was given a WO 1-[protected] & I received an SMS stating that an engineer would visit my residence at 1.00 pm IST on the 24th of May 2010. No one visited my residence & no one from your end bothered to call me to inform me of the same.

                                        Again, on the 24th of May 2010, when I called in to complain, I was informed that the WO was scheduled for the 25th of May 2010 for 1.00 pm IST & not the 24th of May. Is there an issue with your systems that you're sending SMS' to your customers giving an incorrect date? I was assured by your call centre agent that someone will visit my residence at 1.00 pm IST on the 25th of May & I would get a call before the engineer visits my residence.

                                        Today, no one bothered to call me nor did the engineer visit my residence. When I called your call centre, I was informed that the engineer visit was re-scheduled for 7.00 pm IST today. Again no information from your end that this was re-scheduled to another time. Please understand how inconvinient it is for working people when your complany doesnt bother to inform your customers. When I called the call centre & asked for the engineer to visit my residence on priority today, he visited my residence. After checking my Tata Sky set top box, he stated that the box needed to be changed as there was a technical fault with the box. He also mentioned that there will be a charge of Rs.350 which will be deducted from my account balance for the replacement as the set top box was out of warranty.

                                        I was informed the 1st time when I called that a charge will be levied on me only if there is a minor issue with my Tata Sky connection & not if the issue is major. If the entire set top box is replaced, then this is a major issue.

                                        When I called the call centre later, I was informed that the charge of Rs.350 that will be deducted within 24 hours is for the service engineer visiting fees. Why is there so much inconsistency in the information being provided by your call centre. Why can you be honest with your customers? Also, there has been no physical damage to the set top box & this is a defect with the box itself.

                                        Please note: I am not willing to pay Tata Sky for the no service I've received 1stly. You will not credit my account for the lapse in service for the days the service wasnt working & the delay caused by your end to get my Tata Sky fixed. I will also not be paying you the Rs.350 for the service engineer visit fees/the replacement of the set top box. I'm not sure now why you are charging me this fee on account of the inconsistency in information I've got from your call centre.

                                        When I called your call centre at about 3 pm today, I was told that the call centre doesnt have the authority to do anything & that I will receive a call back in 2 hours from the back office team on my complaint. The call was receved by me at 7 pm (4 hours later) from a Zafar who claims to be a Senior Supervisor.

                                        Now, I'm informed that since the charges have been levied on my account, I will need to call the call centre again only once I'm charged the amount & then the case will go to the back office team to validate the case & see what can be done. Why is your complaint process so cumbersone & so customer unfriendly?

                                        Till now, there's no confirmation given to me about what's happening with my complaint. All I'm told is to call back to check on what's happening. I am quite tired of calling Tata Sky again & again & if my issue is not fixed, I would really like to cancelmy services with you as I'm dis-satisfied with the customer service provided to me & the level of ownership each one I speak to has taken in order to resolve my issue.

                                        If nothing can be done from your end, please let me know what the cancellation procedure is & how I can return the set top box. In any case, in the last 3 years, your service doesnt work in the rainy season & gives a lot of trouble.

                                        I am not sure whether this email will make a difference but I am still going to try – I come from the city of Jamshedpur and being a Tata City, I have always respected the company for the amazing trust they have build amongst their stakeholders.

                                        However all that got shaken yesterday because of the really bad experience I had with TataSky. Here is a summary

                                        I have just moved from Gurgaon to Hyderabad and had requested a relocation support from the company. I was promised (I have a sms) that the technician will take my call at 5 PM. I got a call from the local office at 3 PM that the technician is on its away and should be there anytime now. I was delighted – However I guess that was premature. There was no sign of the technician till 5:30 PM. Then I decided to call the call-centre and they said he is on the way and should be there by 6:00 PM . They gave me the number of the technician – who confirmed the same.

                                        6:15 happened – there was no sign of the technician. I once again called the call center and they said He is outside your house and should be there in 2 mins …6:30 – Same story ; 7:00 PM same story… I tried calling the technician and he had switched off his mobile phone .. I called the central call centre – they tried to find out what happened and said they will ensure the technician is there by 7:30 PM. 8:00 PM there is no one to be seen – The call centre guy now says he cant to do anything the thing will be fixed only on Monday.

                                        It is 2:30 in the afternoon on Monday and there is no sign of any technician – I am just completely frustrated with the service. I mean the long years of trust that the group has built is completely shattered now. I just think it was a wrong decision to go for tata sky

                                        im a customer have id-[protected].last sat. i made a voucher rcharge wid the smart shop online services having facility of railways, airtickets also. from mob.recharge menu i entered my mob.no. and an amt. of rs.300/- got Dr. but yet now from that part no recharge have been made. after complaining to both the cust. care centers ie. at TSS and at TATASKY. only a commitment have made. one says that we'll refund your amt. to ur a/c while another says that we gives u voucher no. to make a recharge.
                                        from last 4and 1/2 to 5yrs. of my TATASKY services i have failed in their services first time and hope surely that not a single co. is so much trusted with his customers.

Every time while contact for the same they are assured me that MPGE4 Set Top Box will be available within 24/48 hours but till date I have not received the same. For that I am unable to view my regional bengali channel for which I am paid subscription. Request look into the matter at the earliest for solution. For this action of kindness I shall be ever grateful to you Sir.

                                        My ID No. [protected] (Name Uttam Kumar Bitt). My complaint is that I am not book for Active Music Channel (for Rs. 30/- per month). Whereas on 23 Jun 2014 one massage have been received that "your Active Music Channel is active and Rs. 30/- have been charged). I am not understood why this massage have been sent. While I spoken on 14 Jul 2014 regarding this the officer told that it will be deactivated on 09 Dec 2014 because of it is a offer pack and till date I have to pay for this. Why such type of massage your company have been sent without request and while requested for cancellation such type of terms have been used. I am a old customer of Tata sky since 2009. Please look into the matter.

                                        It's very Sad that TATSKY service is very very poor many of the channel are not beaming! This is been happening since last 4 days!
                                        Tried to contact all online help numbers and it keeps ringing and no one receives the call. Tried to register complaint thru TATASKY web portal and shockingly it is not accepting any complaints! Been attempting to register even today… but in vain.
                                        Finally, yesterday, one technician turned up only to ensure to make some channels disappear from TV ! Looks like untrained and incompetent personnel. Effect of outsourced business model !
                                        Tata SKY has blocked all the options to try to reach them. It's very worst service ever. This is not at all expected from Tata Sky. The service is down since 5 days but they don’t bother to revert. They shouldn't be deducting money from avail balance for Not providing service. Very BAD experience facing with Tata Sky
