My Subscription ID : [protected] I am a customer of TataSky DTH services for long time. Just few days back when I saw Tatasky is providing new kind of HD Set Top Box (STB) with new features Ethernet port and two USB port which I was waiting for long. So I decided to buy a child connection mainly for the new features of the box. So I ordered the child connection with customer care on 11-July-18 mentioning I want the letest STB with above features. But the guy was not technically sound and he promised they will provide me the latest model STB. Within one hour the local distributor sent installation guy with a different STB which was not the model ordered by me. When I asked the guy this is not the box I ordered for which he said you have ordered with customer care(herein after refereed as CC) so you contact them for replacement. Next day on 12-July-2018 I asked about this with CC, they told me we will provide what STB is available. So I contacted the distributor and asked about this and he told me had I asked for the particular type of box we would have provided that and now we cant help as you ordered wit CC. CC are not ready to advise the distributor to change the box. I wanted to buy one product and placed order for that but I receive a different product which is not required for me because of the fault of either Tatasky CC or the distributor. But it is not my fault. So I decided to cancel the order and asked for refund for which the CC head is saying once the product is given out it becomes the customer property and no refund is possible. Had they gave me the same STB which I ordered I would not have cancelled the order. They send a different STB and refuse to give refund. This is unfair business practice and against business ethics. I have talked with CC many times but they are nor accepting and on every call they increase one day for redressal call back. So I am very much dissatisfied with the attitude of Tatasky in addressing customer complaints and are trying to cheat the customer in whatever way possible. So I am escalating the issue with you requesting you to interfere and resolve the issue. I want to bring to your notice if all avenues are closed I will seek legal remedies at your cost.
