[Resolved] Tata Sky — idiotic service | |
I have subscription number [protected] which was installed about 10-11years back. I have not using tata sky almost for about last 3 years and my account was remaining deactivated. Now after the recent tariff regulations, i activated the account just to find the system availability. I found the system installed is quite old and set up box need to be changed along with receiver etc and involve additional cost. I therefore decided to abandon the system and go for a new installation with new subscription. The new subscription is in service. Hoever when i requested the company to deregister my subscription [protected], i got an irrelevant response about merging all systems old with new. It was a stupid response since i want to de register the subscription id since it is not active now and will never be used in lifetime. But this company appears not to understand my request and go writing about merging. It appears that this company do not seem to have well qualified personnel even to understand what is my requirement. Similarly when you see the channel, and want to add or drop channel you will find sample sms as ' add channel number' and sms to 56633. But when u send sms, u will get response as 'wrong keyword, package no required. After this again you send sms add channel no subscription id. You will get response 'subscription id does not exist' eventhough i have put the new subscription id instead of the old inactive id. Overall this companys service is poor and can never be improved upon because of not having well qualified personnel. To avoid confusion in this company i am not giving the new subscription id since the company will mess it up and my system presently in order may be in trouble. Was this information helpful? | |
