[Resolved]  Tata Sky — non provision of channel as per agreement -=cust id[protected]

The above service provider has agreed to provide dth service which included news channel "india today". I have an annual subscription which was renewed from january 2108.
This channel (Channel no 609) was available on 30th september in the night. This morning (01 oct 18) when i tried to see this channel on pressing the remote for 609 it just gave a message on the screen that "channel 609 not available". No reason given and no specific indication that india today will not be available.
Today after-noon i contacted through[protected] to know the status. Only repeated answer i got during the talk with them for 34 minutes is that "we are sorry" sorry sir etc etc. I had to insist that i need to talk to some one senior in the hierarchy and only then i was told that because of the problem between tata sky and star group, india today will be discontinued. To get this information i had to spend 35 inr over phone. Tata sky could have displayed these details on the screen instead of making the consumer suffer like this
As a consumer i shall be provided all channels for which i have made an annual payment in january 2018. The service provider shall reimburse my 3 months subscription charges plus interest @ 12% plus the phone charges (Rs 35) plus compensation for deficiency of service rs 10000/
