[Resolved] Tata Sky — poor signal/service by tata sky | |||
Subscriber id : [protected] We have been tata sky customer for over last 7 year... Life was really zingalala for few years after this connection. However, over the last 2 years we have been regularly facing issue with the service/signal and on repeated complaints we get different responses.. Since last 10 days, we were having 'no signal' issue, however, some of the channels can be viewed, day by day the number of channels available go on reducing, most of the dd channels were still available, but from 19-july-17 all the channels went off. On approaching customer service, after great difficulties, we got standard response, you need to pay rs.225/- then technician will come & check the problem Last complaint date 31-july-17 = closed on 1-aug-17 (Some part of dish was changed) rs. 375/- In february-17, set-top box was changed as there was similar issue repeatedly in jan/feb & their technician visited but could not resolve the issue. They changed cable, once the technician changed the set top box connector, one technician informed that there was no problem & connector was fine the issue was only with cable force to the wall... Since we changed over to hd-set top box we are facing problem for past two years... However, every time we were charged "as per company policy".. Interestingly, the issue every time is similar, the connection is not completely gone off, if the solution provided every time is different the problem should have been different. We are able to watch few channels even after many channels gone-off.. Finally all channels go off Till now we were thinking the issue is faced by us only and could be one off. However, on checking with some acquaintances we found same issue is faced by them as well & they have also be charged every now & then with such issues. Now it is clearly evident that tata sky has started this 'side business' to increase their revenue to stay in competition, but at the cost of customers. The customer service helpline is the worst experience one can ever have. Spending crores on hiring brand ambassador's to endorse product but they are not at all bothered about customers or their services.. This is clearly in contrast of the brand image of tata's, i think they are misusing name of tata's who are known to be ethical & customer-centric business practices Was this information helpful? | |||
