[Resolved]  Tata Sky — recharged with semiannual pack for multi tv still asking money for the 2nd connection

Have been a customer of tata sky since the last many years.
I took a semiannual pack for 2 tv's and recharged with amount of 5784 on 10/08/18.

In the morning today the add-on connection stopped working. I gave a call to customer care and asked the reason since the pack is valid till feb. I was told there is a mistake on tata sky end and the issue would be resolved in next 24hours. I was also advised that i can recharge with rs 30 so that the 2nd tv can start working till the time issue is resolved.

I just received a call from tata sky and i am being told that after recharging in august for the semiannual pack, i should have given a call to tata sky which i did not. So the lady from tata sky is telling me it's my mistake and now i have to pay for the add connection. Now if i did not give a call how come the tata sky was working all these months.

This is just unfair trade practice putting the blame on customer. When i have recharged for a semiannual pack for 2 tvs why should i be calling tata sky in very first place. Do you tell the customer at time of recharging that we are supposed to call you people. And last of all while recharging i was in touch with tata sky on online chat and informed the person on chat that i have recharged for the amount i was told.

Now is this my fault or yours. Kindly look into it and rectify this matter at the earliest else i think you will not only loose a customer but i would take this to the highest level so that no one else is harrased the same way.
And i expect some decency from tata sky to atleast have the courtsey to reply back when i have written mails at [protected]@tatasky.com
