[Resolved]  Tata Sky Satellite Television Company — tata sky technician come to site for his pocket money

From the last 15 days I was continuously getting the issue with my Setup box,

All the channels were stucking such as I am watching the video in Youtube with slow internet connection, I called to the tata sky tollfree number & they told they will arrange the technician to inspect the issue. Technician came to my place today & first he checked the LNB with his signal checking device & told me that it's not working even I show the Testing device not gave any beep or any response while he connected. The technician told me that he will replace the LNB as he found the issue with the LNB part, When I asked him that it is in warranty he denied & told it will chargeable & I have to pay Rs. 350. So He connected the new LNB & it was giving the proper beep pattern & working fine as well, As he told I have to pay Rs. 350 for the same I called to the toll free number immediately & the tata sky agent informed me that the LNB also cover 1 year warranty so she spoke with the technician & informed him not to collect any money from me for the replacement, only the technician visit charge of Rs. 150 was applicable to me & that will be deducted from my account so I also agreed for that. Then after disconnecting the call the technician again connect the old LNB & twist the cable, cut it then again he tried to move it somehow he got the beep sound in his device at certain point, then might be the loose connection was there he tried to fix it very carefully to make it to working condition again without replacing the part when he came to know it's in warranty & he couldn't earn money from me today for the particular service . He denied to replace the new LNB when I asked him so & left the site.

Technician come to site in the mindset of making money today by providing any of reason the issue caused & prove the part faulty, then change the part & charge for the same. Is this the correct way you will do business. I even spoke with your agent on the tollfree number after this incident she told as of now it’s working so I will not get any LNB replacement here, May I know if tomorrow the issue again came & my device will out of warranty then can I claim the replacement of the LNB at free of cost.

Kindly took the needful action on priority & I need the replacement of the LNB now. The activity the technician has done today like if we go to the garage for tire puncture issue & technician make the patch in the tire to fix it temporarily. I will not accept this type of your service in warranty. I need the technician to come to my place again with the sealed box of new LNB Part, & he should unbox it in front of me & replace it in warranty, I will not pay a single charge for this.

I just want to know whether tata sky is making money by doing this type of cheating with his customer now a day? If so it's the time to highlight it for the upcoming user of tata sky who want to choose your product. Every customer should thought about his before choosing your product. I need your reply on the above concern.

Till now the issue not resolved & Tata sky technical team also playing with me, Intermittently getting the issue till now.
