Tata Sky — TATA PLAY DTH Connection and their service

Since installation on March 10, 2023 we are suffering with the below mentioned problem. Despite my several attempts TATA PLAY has not resolved this problem.

1. Changing channels through respective zoner like movie, news, spiritual etc., is cumbersome hence the option of “favourite” where the user can group frequently viewed channels for quick and ease of changing.
2. The remote that is provided does not have “favourite” button to enable us to change the channels frequently.
3. I have already grouped the frequently viewed channels under “favourite” but for viewing them is cumbersome as mentioned before.
4. Presently if we have to change the channels we have to depress Home – Guide – Scroll down to Bottom – select Favourite and then scroll again for selecting the channel among the favourite. When this is done frequently this is frustrating.
5. I have sent scores of emails explaining the difficulty but everybody seems determined only to defend and does not care about the difficulty faced by the user. Some one even argued that this is a “software” and cannot be changed, but the very word denotes it as “software” and is subject to improvement as this is not cast on stone, neither it is called as “Hardware”
6. With all due respects to the team that has built the software the difficulty, frustration experienced by the user for changing channels cannot be ignored.

In the mean time I and my family continue to suffer for not able to view / change channels despite we continue to pay for the charges.
