[Resolved]  Tata Sky — technician service not satisfactory

I had made a complaint on 25/1/18 evening that my stb is not receiving signals. The technician damodaran (Mobile no. [protected]) attended to the complaint the next day morning.

He didn't ask me what the complaint was. He switched on stb and tv. Just changed the digicard and left. When i checked immediately i couldn't change channel. I called him at once and told him to come back and rectify. Before he came i took out the card and found it was an old, used card, plastic film on the card was coming off along one edge and a corner, there were scratches on the arrow printed on the card. Besides when he came back he had to pull out and reinsert card several times to make it work. When i questioned him about all these he insisted it is new card.

My tv is now working with that card he put, but how long will it work.

Please look into this, make the technician give us a new card then charge me for it. My stb is on warranty.

Their explanation was not satisfactory. This is what they had to day : our digicard was not working, they replaced it and the STB is receiving signals. So long as the STB works I cannot complain even if it is old, used card they given me.
