[Resolved]  Tata Sky — unable to receive channels subscribed

I raised the complaint on Friday 17 May 2019. I was told that someone will call at 10am to fix the visit time. I was also told that somebody will pay a house visit on Saturday 18 May.

Nobody called in the morning. Some SMS was sent and timing given to me was 2.25 pm to 2.55 pm. The whole day I was sitting in the house but no one turned up. To add to this nonsense, some technician put the complaint on hold saying I am not reachable which was an utter lie since I have got call from Tata Sky Pune location number about the issue raised.

On Sunday the same technician called and informed me that I have not subscribed to the channels. Hence I am not receiving the channels. Inspite of telling him repeatedly that I have subscribed, the person is not ready to listen and asked me to go and contact Tatasky customer care.

Really do not understand what kind of technicians are working for Tatasky.

Finally at Sunday evening at 6 pm some other technician turned up and said that some receiver component in the dish is faulty and needs to be replaced. No update on when the component will be replaced is provided.

Also the service people have no sense of coming at the appointed time. Even if I wait till 10 am there is no guarantee that the person will turn up at 10 am.

Really frustrated with this kind of service provided by Tatasky. Calling the customer care number is of no help. All they say is someone will call you in 2 hours.

I received an SMS saying that technician will visit between 8 - 8.30 pm. This time was fixed by Tatasky without consulting me. Even then I was at home at the given time. At 8.05 pm I received a call from some unknown number. Could not lift the call by few seconds since I was in the lift. When I called back, the number it was not reachable. After 2 minutes I receive an SMS saying my complaint is placed on hold. If I call customer care, I am told again somebody will be calling tomorrow. Call of time is not fixed.
What nonsense is this ? When the technician is supposed to visit at a time decided by Tatasky without consulting me why can't he come at that time ? How much more you people will be harassing me ?
Is this called customer service ?
