On 01/04/2014 I was selected to work for TCS and was sent a pre-joining docket asked to submit my documents on 03/04/2014. On 04/04/2014, I was asked to appear for yet another round of interview after I had submitted my documents. After going through the interview, I was told the usual "HR will get in touch with you". When after about a week no one called, I called the HR only to be told I had been deselected on behavioural grounds. I recollected my interview as it had gone and found no issues whatsoever. My conduct had been exactly as I had been during my first round of interview previously. The HR also informed me that there are other openings in the organisation for which he will contact me shortly and arrange another interview. When after 2 weeks there was no response, I called, I was informed point blank there are no openings for me. If there are, in future, they will get in touch. This is so humiliating, demoralising and totally uncalled for.
P.S. The verification process is still ongoing with the staff calling up every one of my references and them in turn calling me congratulate me on being selected. Was this information helpful? |
