When i got a call from the educational consultant from think and learn ltd on 23/06/16. I was so much happy that i got a scholarship that i can buy the 11th-12th pcm course for 26, 000/-. I followed the mode of payment they told me and bought the tablet on 3/07/16 through icici bank credit card, i chose for emi option but my whole amount was taken in one installment, i got my tablet after 9 days of payment. I was so much happy that i bought the accesories of the tablet like : tempered glass, covers etc. But soon when i got that my payment is not getting converted to emi i called them, they kept on saying us it will soon be converted to emi but it didnt. Further i got isues with the technical problems in the tablet which after so many calls and a huge toll on my mobile bill was partially solved, when we got the call from the bank that in the credit card statement we have to pay the whole amount of 26, 000/- before the end of the month my parents became worried as we are from a middle class family background and a huge amount payment in such a short period was not possible for us and if we dont pay the amount before the bank's deadline date the huge interest rate of 36% will be charged on us. We called many times to the different numbers they gave us even emailed officially but no response came. Some numbers are switched off.. Some are temporarily out of service and some dont pick up the calls. I tried the helpline no. Which somehow after a long balance charge on my mobile bill arranged a call with the consultant. They told me that they will try to solve my problem asap they asked me for required documents which i gave them instantly they ensured me about that emi issue will be resolved, we also had meet with the bank, the bank manager told us that the company had to carry forward us the request of emi. After no response for many days we gave a request for the refund of our 26, 000/- as stated by the educational consultant when he provided me the scholarship i can take my refund within 30 days i was not out of my time. After a long wait we got a call from the company about the refund of the money. They asked us to courier the tablet first and after they get it back they will send us a cheque of refund. This is not a fair policy we trusted them at the time of payment and got the tablet after 9 days and that too with issues of emi and technical bugs. Now when its their time to refund the money they should trust the consumer. We are not running away any where with their instrument, refund us the money first and take your tablet from us at once on the same day they dont even have to wait for 9 days like we did. As it is said "big words and less work" i dont think my money will be refunded anyway, they also told us that they can't even give us in writing a confirmation that if i send the tablet back they will refund us the money back as per the consumer law its a faulty practice even if they give in writing with the signature of its higher authority we trust to give the tablet back but they are not giving us any confirmation before we send them the tablet back. They are asking for the original bills, the tablet and educational material to be sent by the courier so what we are left with, what if no money is refunded back to us who we will blame on in the consumer court what evidences are left with us we dont even have a perfect address of their company and the only contact with them is from calls which might get blocked after they get the instrument back so in conclusion we will be left with a loss of 26, 000/- and no instrument or evidence left with us to fight against them in the indian consumer court. I am sure that our consumer law is firm and our indian judicial is aware of this faulty practice and take action against them asap for their refund policy i personally advice the millions of consumers to be aware of this type of comanies. I trust a lot on my consumer system and i am sure that the consumer forum will solve my issue asap

At last the concerned person contacted us Mr. inayathulla and refunded us the 26, 000/- through NEFT and also provided us the product for free for 2 years my intuition about byjus was totally wrong they are a reputed company and consider the studies above the money thanks a lot byjus i m very glad and i promise to study well and make your company proud to have such a student Thanking you, Bhavya
