Thomas Cook India Ltd. — Usa tour fiasco

We took a us tour for 11 days with Thomas cook India but it proved to be a nightmare bcoz of several reasons: The guide who was supposed to join us from Niagara never came there and joined in new York When we travelled from new York to Washington we were made to do the city tour after 6 hr journey and then took us to holiday inn which refused permission saying we don’t have rooms and all kids and ladies became ill as we were then made to shift to comfort inn at 1am which was a lower category hotel . The coach driver didn’t turn up at 9am in los Angeles so we missed the universal studio tour by half day. Worst was travel from LA to SFO when bus broke down and we had to wait on road for 6 hours as no alternate bus came to.pick us nor repairs were done intime in area where forest fires were raging . The company promised to give us decent compensation but later backtracked and just said apology and closed the matter. We were 37 pax travelling in this tour and gave them 75 lakhs for tour but it was a great fiasco and poor services and lack of coordination was visible everywhere. One shud never travel by Thomas cook as they are big cheats and can make a u turn anytime leaving u high and dry.

Its a matter of sheer negligence as we go to holiday inn express at 9 pm after a tiring whole day and they say we dont have ur rooms. The next day they asked us to come back, is it a joke that we miss the city tour and pack our bags again and reload into coach to go to same hotel outside washington city around 25 km which ditched us last night.
Secondly we were bogged down near bakersfield for 6 hours and neither repairs were done nor we were shifted to safe place as forest fires were raging in that area and first they said bus is coming from la and then the bus came from fresno and we reached sfo by 1am instead of 3pm and whole day was wasted. Thomas cook offered free dine dance and drinks on last day to soothe us but we were so aghast that we refused that party in protest . the thomas cook cant run away by simple apologies it was clearly at fault and bus company and holiday inn need to be penalised.
We were put up in quality inn at washington which is 1.5* and were not upgraded at sfo even after a promise to do so as a compensation of bad experience at washington.
