I was using a Tikona Connection with the above customer ID in Thane location, when i wanted to shift to a newer building in a different location. I called up the customer care of Tikona in the month of Feb 2015 and informed about my relocation to a new location in the last week of feb 2015.
They were very much persistent i retain the connection in my new location.
I informed that the new society in Dombivali is not in their coverage area and requested them for termination.
I further got reminders for shifting my connection. In the mean-time, i had shifted to my new location in the first week of march 2015.
I could convince 1 executive that my case was genuine and he took up my case for termination in the month of June 2015.
To my surprise, i got an e-mail from automated mails that i have to surrender a modem and they charged me Rs. 1500/- for the same.
I kept on convincing the customer care that i had used my own wireless modem for the connection. For which they threatened me with a legal action.
I never had such a bad experience from my usage, but the Tikona executives were very harsh & not helpful.
After 2 months of my endurance in making them understand, 1 executive pointed out that there is some instrument which was installed in the building.
I went on explaining them that because of their late acceptance of termination request i could not help them since i relocated 4 months before.
I was slapped with a legal notice for which the lawyer threatened to get me jailed for a meagre amount which was not my fault.
I urge that the company reimburse my amount paid for this case.
