[Resolved] Tikona — harassing calls | |||||
We have used tikona prepaid broadband internet for few months, and then we were not satisfied the service, hence we decided to disconnect. When we requested for disconnection, they offered a plan for one year for a cheaper rate, and made us pay 1140 rs for a year. Even then the service was very bad, so we decided to disconnect and requested disconnection. Since it was a prepaid connection we didn't have any amount due. But there was no response from the customer care. After contacting them continuously they agreed to disconnect and they told they will disconnect, also they told they will pick up modem. But there was no response later. But after 1-2 months they started sending mails saying bill has been generated. We tried contacting the customer care, but every time they would bring up new reasons and ask me if i want to continue connection/transfer to some other place/transfer to someone else. Regardless of my response with a no, they disconnect the call and call me after few days or months and repeat the same things. When this kept happening, i made it clear to them that i don't want the service, the request for disconnection was raised when the prepaid period was going on, still the bills are coming, and i am going to file a complaint. Again they cut the call and there was no further calls. I thought the disturbance is over. Now after 2-3 years, they've started threatening me asking me to pay the due amount which got generated after my disconnection request, and saying they would file a case. I have kept few of the call recordings of the conversation in which i asked them for disconnection clearly, and where they were not ready to do it. My tikona customer id was : [protected] Still the bill shows an amount of 5000+ which got generated when we were not using the service. The threatening calls are arriving from delhi, saying they are advocates and they want me to negotiate with them. They're harassing me with unnecessary calls in emergency situations. Also understand that your Customer Care never works!
No one picks up, and even if they pick, they drop the call in a minute or two while talking!
Let me tell you that, TIKONA is the worst internet provider I have ever come across in my life.
Since the day, I have been telling everyone not to use it, when I see someone going for a Tikona connection by mistake!
Hope you shut your company and close down soon! :)
