[Resolved]  Tikona — Threatening calls from tikona from this mobile [protected]

My UID [protected].

I have closed the connection from tikona long back.
And I have asked the representatives to collect the outstanding amount and modem, they always come to collect during my office hours. I have said them come to collect before 11 AM or after 7 PM, no one turned out to my home till date.

Today I got a call from the no:[protected] and they said we are going to register a case against you, if your not going to pay the bill outstanding amount in delhi high court. This is a ridiculous thing from tikona.

I Have paid the outstanding amount 769 and ready to hand over your modem if they come to collect within this week as I am shifting home and don't want any further bill generated and any calls form you guys.

I highly don't recommend this tikona service to any of the other users

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)

The service provider shall terminate the connection within 7 days. They cannot charge rental or any other charges beyond the period of 7 days of request for closure made by the customer. Further, fresh bills shall be raised only after adjustment of the security deposit. The closure/ termination of service shall not be made conditional upon payment of dues/ bills/settlement of dispute. The outstanding amount of security deposits has to be refunded within 60 days of closure/ termination of service. In case of delay in refund beyond 60 days, a consumer is entitled to interest at the rate of 10% per annum for the number of days refund is delayed beyond 60 days
