After registering on timesjobs.com i started getting calls of a recruiting agency. They told me about the openings they have from various renowned companies. I was told that if i register on the site for rs.4150, my cv will be sent with preference to the company i'm ok to apply in. They said they have tie up with timesjobs.com, which is a trustworthy site. Over phone they made me pay on the site timescareerjob.com, which seems like a shady site. The same day i received a call asking me to pay some 9500 more to get more services from them. I denied. Then they said in the money i have paid, they can only send me openings, no guarantee of anything. There are a thousand trustworthy websites doing that for free. I asked for a refund, and they said some 38% of amount will be cut. I have checked throughout the site now, nowhere there are terms and conditions written about refund.in fact there are no t&c anywhere on site, neither does it mention what services are provided with the fees they charge.
