Toshiba India — company is denying to provide the extended warranty | |
I have purchased my toshiba led 40l5400 android tv with serial no e393d6j00450v1 on 24th apr 2015 via snapdeal. I received my led on my address on 27th apr 2015, after which i had called toshiba customer care for installation and also the extended warranty. On 28th apr 2015, service engineer visited my house and installed the led wall mounted. Also provided the 2 year extended warranty card for which i have paid rs.800. Service engineer asked me to send sms in the format mentioned in the warranty card on the number mentioned in that. After which i had received a sms of confirmation. Service engineer confirmed for the extended warranty and left. On 13th feb 2018 when i was facing issue with my usb in led, i called customer support person, they are mentioning your extended warranty is not present in database and i need to contact corporate mail id for this and provided the this mail id. I mailed all documents along with proof of my bill that i had sent mail on the number provided. Only i was not able to show confirmation message as on the mobile which i received is been dead now due to fault in mother board, so not sure how to recover the message. Toshiba is not helping at all and due to there system failure which doesn't register my sms in there system they are denying the warranty service for which i had paid rs. 800 at the time of installation. Please help me on this. If required i can provide all the proofs as i mentioned. Was this information helpful? | |
