Toyota — quality of product

I have innova crysta 2.4z variant, quality of the vehicle/spare parts is not genuine.
I need to replace the brake pad for[protected]km and the toyota dealer says, it does not come under warranty as it is wear and tear spare part.
Why do we purchase such expensive vehicle if it is not maintainence free.
If we do not replace the brake pad, it gets lining on the disc plate. Dealer never takes on quality of the product, just tells it might be our fault and it does not comes under warranty as it is wear and tear part. Our dealer is karuna motors gulbarga and toyota should solve this break pad issue or take the vehicle back
