[Resolved]  Trai — Speed problem with airtel broadband

This is with reference to my airtel broadband connection, bearing account no. [protected], activation date for my connection is 11th march 2016. From the start of my connection have faced constant issues regarding :

1. Broadband speed
2. Disconnection

For the above issues numerous complaints have been lodged with airtel customer care. Few of the complaint numbers are mentioned below :

25th may - complaint no. 82814118

9th april - complaint no. 81048982

31st march - complaint no. 80699366

22nd feb - complaint no. 79205708

24th dec - complaint no. 76861034

2nd dec - complaint no. 76048176

For the above complaints lodged with airtel customer care, issues faced were broadband speed/disconnection. Constant visits were done by your airtel technical to resolve the above problem once complaint was lodged during which they changed the modem once, performed changes in the settings, etc and the problem got resolved. But it is important to note that after 20-45 days again the same problem resurfaced for which again i had to lodge formal complaint with airtel and technical visit is arranged and problem rectified and after 20-45 days again issues of speed arises.

During your technician visit for complaint lodged on 9th april 2017, technician tested the connection speed on lan and wifi and gave a feedback that speed is proper on lan and the issue of speed is on wifi and the solution for which is i will have to change my router if i need to resolve the speed issue on wifi as on lan speed was proper. On confronting him that connection is being used on same floor and why do i need to change the router since the router has been provided by airtel, he did some setting by calling someone in airtel (I believe he called some in airtel as he was speaking to someone on phone regarding this speed issue) and the issue got resolved.

As on today when i am writing this e-mail to you i. E. 25th may 2017 i have again lodged complaint regarding broadband speed with airtel and i am getting speed between 4 mps - 9mps for connection having speed of 40 mps. Screen shots are attached for your reference (Speed test done on website - speed-test).

I am surprised and fail to under that airtel being such a premium brand is not able to solve the issue of speed

Would requeta trai to take up this matter and help me get a resolution. I have writte to nodal team and received respinse that problem has been resolved but i am still facing the issue of speed.
