[Resolved] Travel Triangle — nepal trip 2020/coronavirus outbreak/no refund for cancellation | |
Hello, I have made a booking for Nepal trip from Bangalore for April 2020 through Holiday package agency tied up with Travel Triangle. Before and at the time of booking in February 2020 the complete crew of Traveltriangle and Holiday package were as sweet as sugar. Once booking done with a couple of instalments there was a change in the tone and attitude. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak which was unexpected to spread and become Pandemic I had to cancel my trip well in advance and requested the agency and travel triangle to refund Rs. 20, 000 that i paid as 2 instalments (which is a part of the complete package cost - Rs 64K). As a victim when i spoke to Mr. Abhinay Singh requesting him a refund as I do not want to take risk keeping my family's well-being in consideration, the response from Mr. Abhinay Singh was "It is not my problem". When i spoke to Ms. Ashwani Sharma from Travel Triangle she sounded rude and said she cannot help in any ways and it is the agency decision to take necessary steps. I emailed Travel triangle and agent with a refund request and as a reply they asked me to pay the next installment with Rs. 30, 000 and finally sent me a WARNING EMAIL with booking cancellation since i did not pay 30K. How un-professional and rude!! I sent out a request email to Travel triangle’s CEO and still there was no amicable resolution. It clearly shows that the agency is taking advantage of the outmost situation. There are similar situations faced by many people across and some of the travel agencies like Make my trip are refunding their customers. I am also seeing similar complaints from other customers of Travel triangle and Holiday package that the refunds are not been provided and issues not resolved. It is sad that the agency is not at all customer centric and is eating off the payments made by the customers and simply cancelling the trips without refunds. I really hope through this forum my concern is looked and a resolution is provided to me in terms of partial refund if not full. Was this information helpful? | |

It is very disappointing. It now confirms that travel triangle and their agents are fraud and look for a way to cheat people.
Now since there is a Nationawide lock down and travel within and outside country is impossible and risky why cant I get a refund?
