Tvs Motor Company — indiscipline and non customer oriented service centre

Hello,

Today 5th january, 2019 i have serviced my tvs aapche rtr 200 in a service centre in pune. (The shelar tvs, bhelkenagar, kothrud, pune, maharashtra 411038). I had really bad experience over there.

I will explain the incident in detail, these guys were continuously calling and messaging me to come to service. They said we have facility of express servicing which will give your bike in just 2 hours. So i went today in the morning 8 am so that i can get express service as explain to me over the call by their representative. I was the first customer who came that early there. Then they took about half an hour to make my job card. Now after that when i asked them what is the expected delivery time they told me to come at 1pm. I said i am the first customer today and i am giving my bike for express servicing why will it take so much time. Then representative said express is available only for unpaid servicing.

If its only for unpaid servicing where to much work is not there, then why company is doing false advertising?

Then another representative interrupted me and said ok we will give at 11.30am. They took all the queries and given me rough estimate that it will cost near about 2000 rs. While writing he said our boy will call and ask if there is any problem in break pad, spark plus or air filter and will take permission from me to replace it.

I came home and i got a call from service centre saying your break pad and air filter needs to be changed. I asked them how much will it cost, he added 500/- i said don't change air filter only change break pad, and how much will that cost he added first 300 then 350. I said even that also i don't want to do. Discussion ended here.

Then i went to pick up my bike at near about 1pm, because i know these guys always take 1-2 hours extra god knows why? When i checked the bill i was shocked they have added break pad replacement charges as 300 rs. I said i haven't said to do it. Then representative came and said these are only consumable charges for polishing and oiling the old one. Now if new one is coming at 300 rs how come the old one is taking this much amount to just refresh. Then he added charges for replacing and polishing the new one is same. I was lie what? Here i found something fishy.

I asked the representative then why on bill it is mentioned as charges for replacing if i haven't done it. He said its printing mistake. I will correct it and he changed it with pen to consumable charges. These guys are really sharp as they don't show you the actual bill before you pay so that they can apply anything they want and then explain it in some terms which you won't understand.

I said, you are already taking 400 rs charge as labour charges then why this extra charges for break pads cleaning, he added this is like this only. He was unable to answer my questions.

Then i went to his boss, he was the most rude person. He started talking in high tone with me and yelling that you are not understanding the things and all. So just to reconfirm i asked him just tell me charges for replacing the break pads if 300 is only for polishing the old one. To my shock he added 600rs. This guys are taking any amount which comes to their mind like anything. Then i said him that your representative told me it cost only 300. He said i don't know that this is the cost what i am saying. Again i asked what is for air filter then, he added 400. Another shock.

These guys are robbing the people with whatever amount comes in their mind and justifying them by telling some foolish tings and work. They don't have any respect for customers coming to them. They are doing this but tvs company's name they putting down. I will not recommend anyone to go for tvs if this the situation of your service centres. Like literally they are robbing.

You should have to publish the actual rates of every part on a portal or something so that one can refer and check.

And after paying the bill i asked them to give me key of my bike he said its not ready yet. I said give it to me in whatever condition it is. It was 1.30 pm at that time.
