Uber India — about uber booking in mumbai

Dear sir madam.
Since last few days i have observed a thing in uber.
When you start booking the cab it shows a lot of cabs nearby. However when i confirm the booking it connects me to cab which i find 5 to 6 kms away from my location.
When i want to cancel the trip it says that i will be charged for cancellation, even if i try cancelling immediately after booking. It eventually takes 20 to 25 minutes for the cab to reach me.
Can you please look into the matter?
