My account has been blocked by Uber. Informed that service was not available to me. And that they could do nothing about it.Reason not specified . This is incorrect. The only activity on the App that I was using the site for was to book a ride for the next day which was not being accepted on the app.Hence many unsuccessful attempts were made. I may not be very proficient in using applications but surely that cannot be a violation of terms and conditions as mentioned by Uber.
Denying a service without reason is not just incorrect but disrespectful. I am a retired defence services officer in India and arbitrary discontinution is denyial of my right to use a servuce as well as insulting to my dignity. Updated by ramases6 Update at 1910 hrs ist. Uber have reactivated my account. 'The account was placed on temporary hold as a security precaution', whatever that means. Thank you for your support. I am sure that has helped speedy resolution. Regards, Ramesh.
