Dear uber team,
Sub : cancellation charges / outstanding amount showing in my account due to which i can book uber
This is to inform you that i am a frequent traveller with uber services and also very often, i do refer / book your services for my friends and relatives.
Though i am very happy and satisfied with your services but from last few occasions i am experiencing that the services are deteriorating from the standards set by uber.
I would like to bring to your notice that it had happened couple of times when i had booked a service and the chauffeur had denied giving his service for reasons best known to him, but the shocking thing is uber charges me a cancellation fee with no fault of mine. Now, every time i login to book a new service, it keeps prompting me for some previous cancellation charges, which i am not even eligible to pay.
On 10th may, 2017 i booked uber from my mobile aap at around 7.30pm, on my phone it was showing it will take 5minutes to come, later it got changed to 7mintues, after sometime to my surprise i got a call from driver stating he can’t come, so i have to cancel my booking.in five minutes time again i got a call from one of the driver saying he at sahar airport and will take more than 15minutes.
It wasn’t my mistake still i was penalized for cancellation charges and due to which i cant go ahead and book my rides which is not fare. I am well-known builder from mumbai and i can go up to consumer court or file a suit against you guys. I have in house lawyer team who can do all this for me.in past, i had even communicated my grievances couple of times but there was no revert from you.
I had a high belief and expectation in uber so much that i had stopped using ola. But after getting so poor services, i am switching back to ola. You will be missing a very good customer, make a note of it.
Please find below my registered name and number for your consideration to waive the cancellation charges / refund the cancellation charges. I would also like to request uber to ensure that such occurrence does not happen again with your regular clients.
