Uber India — cancellation of car rental by the driver-uber | |||
I booked a cab from scottish high international school at sushant lok ii to my present residential address at sushant lok i today (25/4/18 at about 4 pm. Accordingly a car was allotted and l was waiting at the school gate for the cab. As it was talking time to arrive l contacted the driver to tell him my location. The driver replied after a few call about accumulation of vehicles and a jam in the vicinity of the gate of the school. Thereafter he switched off the phone. He never came to pick me up. After some time l received a message that i have to pay rs 42 towards cancellation fee. I then came home by other means. I fail to understand under which circumstances such a message was sent to me and l am to pay cancellation fee. On the contrary, the driver need to be warned and penalised. Uber should apologize for the episode and warn the driver. Was this information helpful? | |||
